It's really never been running in my ownership. I bought it faulty, it's stayed that way. I wouldn't be too bothered, if my bike hadn't thrown a wobbler.

Bolt snapped int he cam shaft journal. So now I am literally screwed. So close to having her fired up as well bud. SO CLOSE! FML I hate myself right now.

I need to get some wheels quick though. So I'm going to put this Starlet on the back burner and fix the bike me thinks.

Almost there mate. Everything is all back together...then I well and truly buggered myself. I have to strip it ALL back down and start again. Gutted, is an understatement.

See I get that but...wheres the fun factor? I get that put your foot down and the car moves. But there is something mechanical about shifting.

Personally, I find manual transmission utterly pointless. I slate the Americans that mainly run Auto but in actuality there is no need for manual transmission for most drivers. Me personally, would prefer to stay manual cause I like the shifting. But for everyday drivers....I wonder why?

I've not been in an Auto Starlet. I can only imagine them being gash. But what are they like?

I thought these cars were prone to having cracks in the turbo?
