Mine sounded immense I've never managed to get a video though! They'll be silent on idle if you get a proper external set up. Normal decat screamers sound a bit tractorish on idle.

Meshed turbos are fine!

You should be able to tighten it up. But chances are there's a reason it's came loose. But yeah as Adam said it will probably need a rebuild just to make sure the comp wheel hasn't had contact with the compressor housing. If you need a rebuild or even it looking at give me a shout ;)
