I've had Tein, vmaxx and apex springs in various starlets. Vmaxx and apex were the most comfortable. With teins being the least. But then the teins handled a lot better.
Bin all the charcoal canister stuff. I just put a bit of silicon pipe on the hard pipe that used to be connected to the canister and ran it back out under the car so it can vent out. Fuel filter sits down lower on a glanza, I'd imagine you'd need the pipes to suit. And I hate electrics but I'd imagine if your stuck for an earth just earth it to the chassis
From what I've gathered, there's a noticeable difference when driving, but not much difference top end. I ran 1 bar on my standard ct9 and it was great tbh
For the dampening I have the rears fully soft and fronts 2 clicks up from fully soft. You'll need to get your alignment done to get camber set properly, I went with neutral toe and -1 degree of camber and it handles nicely on the road
Nice work! Had similar problems fitting my half rad, most of the bolts where already sheared of. Also must give that vanish a go, my recaros have gone a bit mouldy from sitting in the car in the shed all winter
I assume he means that when you buy 55mm teins they won't actually lower the car that, prob more like 35/40. I had a set in mine and has no issues, they handled well. But they don't lower as much as they claim
