that black rubber pipe going to your sump is the oil return from the turbo. the bottom left of this pic explains it for you. often it can be worth replacing that pipe as old rubber pipes get brittle and split. if i was changing my oil feed and return pipe i would buy a new one. part number is 90910-05209 This sausage here

Under seat heating & electric box under my seat?
Bean replied to Ethanep82's topic in Lifestyle General
yeah it is probably disconnected somewhere when the alarm fitter fitted your system. my gt has the box under the seat it isnt uncommon, but i never got the key like yours when i bought the car so i cant use it! -
the banjo bolt should be fine so long as it doesnt get cross threaded.

remote central locking unit isnt it? the snow versions do have bigger starters and alternators. the starters are a fair bit bigger!! some times theres a sticker on the boot if its a snow version or under the bonnet on the skin ive seen them there on glanzas. -
i wish this was sooner!!

Cheers guys. it wont take much to make this pretty mint, im just giving it a refresh and sorting any possible mot failures too. I dont like the wheels tbh so they will change at some point, im not sure what for. A few people have commented they like the wheels actually. I got the heat shield finished last night and I have new bolts to fit it with. my manifold has a tiny crack (is there any out there without) I do have another on a spare engine I need to check.

next i started on the suspension. I noticed the front drop links looked a bit tired and a few other bits so i ordered a few parts from camskill. i fitted new front drop links with poly bushes in them. next up was new track rod ends as these looked pretty tired too. these are the old drop links, you can see how its worn on one side. one link wouldnt come off so had to chop it with the grinder. the springs which came on the car had been chopped by someone at some point so i got some TRD springs and swapped them over TRD springs on the rear After

Been giving the GT some love, its a break from working on the GT4. The rocker cover had seen better days so i stripped it down and gave it a good clean and painted it. then some clear coat to finish it off. I fitted new spark plug seals, a new rocker gasket and a new pcv valve i had knocking about.

cool cheers for that, is that with the over drive on? I just wondered as mines stock so doesn't have the power to get there and probably still has the speed limiter. -

i guess you like tango?? out of interest what does the auto box top out at? I have an auto my self and i think its great. -
I think you would be better off buying a complete car then just sell what you don't want. Otherwise you will be buying a whole car in bits pretty much.
-
yeah im sure one will come up. I will keep looking.

Looks like £485 delivered plus any customs tax ect. they dont list the ep82 system so it would have to be the ep91 and modify the rear hangers.
-
the postage will be mental though wont it. i looked on nengun and it was about £240 for just the postage.
-
no one got one for sale?
-
I think I came to the last one but I had a last minute problem and the car never made it so I came in a grandad mobile 535D.

KP owners need your help!! Body panels and floor pan.
Bean replied to PWG123's topic in Exterior Design
not much left at the dealer for these cars or anywhere else for panels. Some bits are being remade by flo. panels that do come up will be daft money and in Ireland no doubt. best to get some sheet steel and a mig, grinder and get cracking. -
im after the above. good condition please. pics would be good.
