I got a few more parts. Arc bov with fitting adapter for the efi pipe. and after a strip down and clean up. I also got a Jam twin port actuator boxed as new, looks like it was never fitted. and got them both fitted, it turned out my stock actuator was only held on with one bolt the car now boosts much better, more responsive and the low boost setting it what was high boost and high boost seems to now take the stock boost gauge to the last mark. Time to get a proper one fitted now.

i dont think a genuine recaro rail was made that will fit those recaros into a starlet. only option is if someones made or adapted some. i had a set of evo 8 recaros years back and the bases were different to the usual 2bolts at one end together and 4 at the other.

yeah i think so.

theres two types of front arb. one uses 4 bushes and ones uses 8. i think it depends if the bit the drop link attached to is horizontal or vertical on the arb. my 92 gt only needed the 4 bushes.

what about emanage ultimate plug and play looms? ive got an emu doing nothing which could go on my gt at some point.

there was a gt spec which was pretty much a stock rebuilt unit i think. then a gt2 spec and then at the end was a td12 which used td04l components. theres some good info on them if you google them.

i think the evo 8 bases are different to the older style of recaros which have two bolts at one end and one at the other so it will have to be some adapted runners to fit them.

It is almost identical to a machine R-tech sell for more than double the price. But from them you get excellent customer service and a very good warranty. It depends if you want to take the risk. Ive had it just over 2 years ago now and it hasn't had alot of use tbh but its been great. 200 amp ac/dc pulse ect so it can weld most things you would want to. I took it to a good fabricator i know who uses an old Esab transformer tig and he said it welds as nice as his beast of a tig does. Things to consider price wise is that theres quite bit more to buy than just the welder, you need various tungsten's, different wires obviously, a decent sized argon bottle, regulator if the bottle doesnt have one built in, ceramics, collets, a decent mask, something to grind your tungsten with, gloves it all adds up to alot more than you think.

yeah i was just thinking about that. the buttons on mine dont all click in place and the windscreen one is jammed which is the most import one! lol.

im after a fully working (all buttons click in and out) ep82 heater control. must be good condition nothing snapped off ect. the same as this one please.

a couple of mates will probably come down with me too in their own cars but they can be unreliable so i wont adding them to the list. lol
