  4. Not updated in a while lol. At college at the minute and the build well be wll under way when i get back, engine is on the stand and is getting built, shell is very close to paint and only have a few things left to buy. New turbo has arrived and had a colour change and a few more tatsy ideas, but they will be unveiled soon. Bring on Japfest 2 - time to scare some Evo's :harhar: Gary
  5. i just bit the bullet mate, me and my bro took our mk2 astra gte to knockhill and flipped a coin so could have been any of us to drive first and it just happened to be me. It was fine, once you have had your breefing its all explained etc. Plus the track seems really tight and close when you are watching but when you are out there its really wide and plenty room to pass Gary

  7. Track time isnt about flat out madness that you cant handle which its made out to be!, ive been on track a few times now and to be honest its just like a big go-kart track. You only go as fast as you can handle, if someone has a faster car they will pass you, they have to follow rules as well as you so its not like they will push you off the track or anything. At japfest just passed i took my white ep80 starlet on the track and i had almost an 1000mile trip there and back so was a massive risk if i crashed but i took it easy the first lap to get used to the track then sped up to the max the
  8. If it's a turbo sump from a 4efte it should have a union welded into the sump. Have you used an 4efe or 5efe sump by any chance? What are you actually building? Gary
  9. Itl be the oil feed and return for the turbo, Your right one bolts to the oil filter housing and the other one should have a 90 degree rubber hose to the sump for the oil return If it points to the ground then you must be missing the hose Gary
  10. affraid not, it's not built yet so I'm taking the White ep80 on the track lol, I'll have it at other shows but this was to tight deadline Gary
  11. Car fully stripped, bucket seat and harnesses in, helmets bought, strut braces added be ready to leave in a few hours to convoy down from Scotland Really excited but will be tired lol

  15. yeh the grey wire connectes to the handbrake wire. Wont keep the engine running until its connected Gary
  16. Its only a short vid but its a beast once it gets going Gary
  17. Here is a quick video of the swat bus. Gary
  18. for the HDI boost controller to work you need to get a consant feed of OVER 12 volts or it just won't power up atol. Just need to check wires until you get the right power. As if it's just over 12v and you join another component in it will cause a resistance an you will get maybe high 11's which just isn't enough Hope this helps Gary
  19. I was videoing Geo in car and from the track side. They were on his camera thou so have to wait on him getting round to it. Fastest time was a 14.3 just as the track dried up, 13's are easily achievable Gary
  20. Welcome buddy, I'm only up the road at Dundee if you ever need a hand with the car Enjoy your stay! Gary
  21. I had a momo wheel on my ep91 for a while. I used a HKB boss which was purchased from tm-developments. You will just get a choice if air bag or non air bag I think Hope this helps Gary
  22. Happy birthday mate, Have a good one! Gary
  23. Nice pictures Ryan, some really nice cars there. Was a not bad day once it dried up, wish i had went for a run in the dry with the car. Didnt realise there was so many starlets there to be honest. Hopefully have my green one at the scottish street car in september. well thats what im aiming for Gary
