Thanks in advance for any replies cheers

  6. Lads earlier driving home the car packed it in and died on me, wouldn't start at all got a mate to come up with spare leads and dizzy swapped out the leads no joy and swapped the dizzy and she started up but idle was lumpy we mustn't of set the timing back properly as we were on the side of the road! I'm guessing the dizzy was fooked that I took off ? I changed the cap and rotor recently so were virtually brand new so it's probably the coil is it?

  9. Lads lately when I've my full lights on and I downshift a belt is squealing like mad I've checked both and my alternator one is a bit loose compared to the fan belt now when I say loose I mean it just has a small bit more up down movement than the other belt, it goes away when I just run the dips with no fogs but when all them are on it squeals like mad would it be the belt or the alternator? Sorry if it's a bit of a stupid question but I just wanna single out what it is before I go buy both
