  1. Is there any other brands than Powerflex black series engine mount bushes whic are black. Don't wanna any red, violet or yellow bushes, more sleeper look in enginebay and better color for all dirt. Putting GT/Glanza bushings to my EP70 and those should fit what I have read... How has been your ride with harder bushings? I'm not afraid that those are too hard, driven years with hard bushings in other cars and sometimes those have broken few or loosen mount bolt threads from gearbox after several launching. Is this common in Starlets with only three mounts, never had powerfull Starlet by far
  2. Got missing bushes and end links also, maybe gona keep those SLR bushes, but endlinks must buy new ones. Thought that arb was 18mm, but it was 20mm as seen from bushes. About four kg this shit, heavy. But maybe must thing to add, suspended Whiteline 24mm arb, because it is way too hard for light car. Couldn't find any cheap TRD arb, it would be between these two.
  3. Checked all fuses, can also be relay problem? And MAP sensor ok and vacuum hose with filter ok, main sensor for engine, everything dies if that not working..

  5. Trunk project contiuned little bit, made cardboard model. Then cutted wooden half floor and drilled/hammered few treadnuts. Ready for carpet and subwoofer some day. Tooked sparewheel bracket away, drilled little bit and bended it, fuck, four holes, not my plan :/ No need for that, still can bend small spare wheel if needed... Amplifier comes under that floor, hanging from the bars, don't wanna put it on floor, some day there may come water after some leak. Wires and cables routed over amp, under wooden floor. I have few extra 4E-FE engines, next attempt is putting 4A-FE exhaust
  6. Honda radiator lower pipe moved now, next have to do some fan plate or my friend maybe do it who welded that pipe also. About 30cm slim line fan maybe, price range is 30-100 euros, maybe not so important thing what fan to choose, more important is that plate, have to bend it over edges and put some foam seal between plate and rad. Also bought n/a EP91 18mm front arb, had to test it and see how near it goes over lower arms holes, maybe have to heat and bend it little bit, then heat treatment and sand plasting/powercoating.   7. Nice project, always enjoying reading budget cars building. Intercooler is only negative thing, why not putting it behind bumper, there is enough room if taking that hood support bracket away...

Then You have start loom checking, start from that fuelpump ground, it's somewhere near back floor or pilar, check resistance with ohm meter, then plus wire to fuelpump relay etc. There is also huge grounding points under dash, near fuse and relay boxes, where many thing are connected together, have you seen those? Many are saying always to check groundings, but those are always a must to check, after that plus and signal wires, horrible job but if You have changed almost everything, I don't see any other route to go?

  15. This is good summary text And always remember bad wheather condition on road car, too stiff is not always best option for snow, wet and bumpy roads, car needs some suspention on that area.
  16. Fuelpump problems sometimes cause that kind of thigs, don't deliver enough fuel under raising pressure. Easy to test with fuel gauge between filter and fuelrail, then test drive. Toyota services have those gauges, I have loaned few times...
  17. Some floor, wings and door pictures. I have welded right floor corner few years ago, just temporaly for mot, didn't even painted it inside, and years goes on and nothing big haven't happened :/ Doors are almost rust free, lucky me. Some rust on wings, but can be fixed, some small holes. I put those back, so can drive car somewhere without police stopping, looks almost normal car. Have to add front signal lamps temporaly too. And winter wheather back again, game over temporaly...
  18. Added oem seats back and tooked wings and valance panel away. Scarapped all soft rust prevent bodycoat away with metalbrusch and knife, some preparation for sandblasting and wash. Nothing big rust under wings, thank god.
  19. Tested fast lower arm support, on december, nothing has hapened to this car since that, fucking winter. Very close this newer model bar, hard to try take picture alon, need longer hands Gona take copy from this, after real fitting test and put this to my EP91 maybe.
  20. I bought Corsa GP turbo motor loom and ECU, modded for 5E-FTE 16V head. Earlier was in EE90 Corolla and worked, time shows if I gona put this anywhere, probably not for my EP70 ever, but You never have too much spare parts :/ 1.5L 12V 3E-T ECU Some 308cc injectors maybe, haven't googled those yet... ECU pinouts.
  21. Thanks. Looks much better with gunmetall than original silver. Have found four 150mm caps, these smoot flat ones and oem with TTE stickers, Lexus and TTE machined logo. Very similar wheels by the way Nice deeper center on rear wheels...
  22. Wanted spare caps, old plastic were cracked and have to fix those and too many projects going on at same time.
  23. Now caps were dryed, not looking bad with boring gunmetall color? Still many months winter left in Finland, have to wait may month :/
  24. Well written Stu, important thigs, also behind radiator In normal road use not so big thing even with one row small radiator, but with turbo and track area everything accects. Two row radiator is okay also in most of case...
