  1. Sorry, pictures were in wrong order. Here few outside pictures more. Then I got caps, man should use google translator, caps were unprepared universal machined straigt plates, damn, though that they were cast aluminium oem style :/ Not perfect fit, 1mm over :/ So had to do some edge smoothning for both side, knife sharp edges. Now fits better for my eyes. Then acid primer for bolts and caps. And top coat. Don't even know if going to use these, but had to paint thise same time so color matches.
  2. Finally got wheels prepared for paint, tooked maybe ten hours :/ After that I found aluminium center caps, so blasting and powercoating could be possibl for this project, shit... Started one night with backrounds and those dryed several days, just perfect color for brake dust, spokes are so small for cleaning and this was one reason to change color also. Then I ordered wheel caps from Germany, oem style without sticker hole. http://m.ebay.com/itm/TTE-Gecleant-Wheel-Cap-4x-Nabendeckel-1-Satz-Deckel-passend-bei-TTE-Felgen-/232152859545?hash=item360d638399%3Ag%3APiUAAOSwEzxYNbOf&am
  3. I'm gona swap 5E-FTE engine and want room for downpipe, so that reason pipe have to move opposite side, this is maybe waste of time, but can easily do now when radiator is new without any old liquids. Gona drill old lower brackets away and do full new brackets, easier that way. On top there is only one tap, so there also some custom plate to hold radiator.
  4. I bought Honda 3row radiator, not yet fitted to my EP70, mayne gona move that lower pipe more left, so no help for You now.
  5. Works and hopefully holds also. This job need very stable hands, every mm affects camber, how much did You tooked away by the way? In Finland law don't allow to do such a modifications to axle, so it needs good grinding and painting
  6. Sorry to hear this, specially because You are very helpfull guy here at forum what I have seen and read here :/ Little dave better have very good excuse for this, not good thing for his ukso future...
  7. Fits, same size, also panhard bushes...
  8. "Whitestars" old wheels now on my tractor, 16x7,5 ET35, 195/40R16, perfect fitment with oem suspension :/ Next summer gona be 195/45R16 tyres and Tein lowering springs...
  9. Here few of my GT pistons, engine still worked and rings were ok, parts dropped after taking pistons out of cylinder...
  10. This. I have blown my pistons few times and all times engine were worked back to home easily, maybe little oil in windscreen, but it's only oil. Breather fumes act in good condition engine that way, that if You add more gas or rev engine a lot, You hardly see/smell/feel fumes, fumes comes only on idle. When pistons are gone, then when You raise revs, fumes comes very visible and oil fysically comes out from pipes and valves, maybe other seals too. Plus that ratling sound is there also naturally. Test Your engine this way, no need for compression test if pushing out out breathers when reving.
  11. Oil from breathers sounds like piston failure...
  12. Electric 230V powerguns are cheap If possible get that 215mm turbo flywheel, 200mm clutch is too small or grip isn't enough for turbo torque with higher gears, it gona slipp sooner that You realize. Small gear aren't problem. One summer and it's dead. At least buy 3-puk copper clutch if staying oem 200mm, better grip.
  13. Allready have scaled three different and many other things like glasses, brakes, axles, etc...
  14. EP71 3dr doorcard = about 1,6kg TRD aftermarket mechanical LSD with bearings = about 6,7kg EP70 front signal = about 0,1kg My hunt has began, do You wanna join it...
  15. Is there allready some thread or which area it should be in this forum, where people have scaled different Starlet related car parts. Wanna know what every part weights, so can do some reasonable weight reduction. Curious to know all weights and save some data for future kids. I have scaled few parts allready and going to scale every part, where do I put my data and pictures? Oem 4E-FTE manifold with CT12 turbo and HKS actuator = about 9kg EP71 rear seat part = about 4,5kg
  16. Wow, nice turbo/manifold setup. What are plans for oilfilter, relocated system with cooler maybe? Very big that intercooler, almost too big for Your boost
  17. Then tooked roof trim away, what a pain and it drops out only one way, from rear to front. Wanted to take it one part so had to take quarter glasses away to get bended and glued trim away behind sealing, arg :/ There was also metall U-clips keeping trim on, those digged away with screwdriver. Front part have few philips screws and only route to take plastic/metall frame away is this way. Job done, tooked few hours with freezing hands. Very good condition from top, habe to save it, maybe never gona put it back on, I have other plans for roof what I have mentioned earlier
  18. After christmass Lithuania trip I got few days off from work and wheather was good, so started parting out car in parking area. Have to keep it drivable, so can't do full destroying Plans are to drive car to my job and do full hot steam powerwashing for underbody and then drive car to my cold country storage place where I make full stripping. First muddflabs and guards away, rear and front seats, harnesess, front bumber, etc.
  19. Just cut/brakeout battery terminal connector and get long main cable, add maybe main power switch and ground battery from trunk, very easy job. So this way can go back to if if needed. If You don't have big electric systems, then go small motorcycle battery, enough for older cars easily...
  20. Have to consider posting costs first, don't sound so cheap to get one to Finland from New Zealand
  21. Thanks, I got that info also from Harold van Erven. Have to hunt newer farb then and mod links.
  22. Easily can destroy bush and sleeve, but do I need old sleeve for new bush?
  23. I bought EP91 anti lift kit to my EP70. I have new EP70 arms, but not using these, saving these for future spare part purpose. Taking my old arms from car and those should be same. Was wondering is EP91 arm rear rod same about 16mm thikness as E70? Question ends should that old sleeve needed or does this bushing just go without sleeve, something won't match this thing? How these are installed to EP91 arms, just pushed to rods?
