  1. lol, im everywhere, im like conciousness lol true, great work non the less, make a great drag car
  2. yea i know, spent to much money and time to get rid of it now. hence why i buy cars to complement it and not replace lol
  3. 2jz and fwd man they should of at least gone rwd with it and extended the bulkhead
  4. the time will come, but mostly likly 2016 now, an yea that would of been when i cracked the act extreme clutch discs into 3 peices piece of crap that was. true, at lease my sons cars only cost £1 each lol,,, even if i do hunt the matchbox section for jdm cars for him anyone whould think his toys cars are for me aswell
  5. lol yea cheese dude ,i've not spoke to mike in a while hope all is well.... my lifes kinda changed since i had a kid haha not the first to take the piss out that.. i've overhauled nearly everything on the car since that track session, inc all new and "porpley secured" gauges aswell as upping the compression ratio, stand alone ecu and various other stuff to reduce lag and gain power
  6. i got my emu working on win 8 with an xp emulator... but it was alot of pissing about i just installed xp and win8 as a dual boot on my laptop.
  7. this give a good perspective of the speed: >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXj2a8aI4C0
  8. sadly not as i didn have my go pro with me on my last trackday, but here is the most up to date video (3 years ago lol) was running 320ish bhp - for comparison the evo had just over 440 according to the owner... but i think it was more like 400 >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rq68dgo_I7c on a track youll probly have more mechanical sympathy on the driveline if driven propely, on the road its easy to kil gearbox's . ive stripped 3 gear 3 times, 2 glanza box's and 1 gt box, both happen on the road havin "fun" but on track ive never had an issue. looking at racetech work im sure they done a bang on job i spent 45mins on track before i was too tierd to continue and had to pits stop - time jusy flys... back when i first started and did thing on the cheap, 10mins on track would rape the car get a vid up then
  9. this is why l only use my gt on a "wide fast track" when i had just over 300bhp it was WAY faster on a circuit than the 412 its got now ( due to bigger turbo) its still good on a tighter track but exit speeds are reduced due to lag.... so i use my mx5 for smaller tighter tracks and the GT for all out speed. 400bhp is alot of power in a starlet, but my 450bhp supra is just as capable at street speeds as it has a MUCH bigger power band. andystarlet with a 1.3 or 1.5 lump will only make good power form 5k rpm onwards IMO. even my mx5 is faster point to point... then again i did build my GT for all out speed lol P.S - id suggest to stay out Birmingham street racing , i know a few people that still go. no matter how much fun it is, it dosnt compair to a proper trackday... yes i been there done that but what do i know. question is can your fast street car survive/take the abuse on a proper track ?
