Friend of the dad works in a scrappy where a set of 4 black multispoke wheels was weighed in yesterday afternoon Dads nipping up tomorrow to check if its them, if it is they said there more then welcome to supply CCTV of people who weighed them in Fingers crossed people.

I have had 2 uk spec boxes on my turbo, the slightly shorter ratios are better for 1/4 mile impo the reason i say 2 is they dont like 270bhp haha the one at the moment is doing fine though as im doing less power and its a recon box where as 1st box was a cheap one to keep me on road. If its a good condition box i dont see it being a problem up to 230-240bhp providing your not launching it all the time However i did loose almost 20mph on top end (speedo reading not GPS verified)

Cheers for replies guys i just needed to have a rant more then anything else, I will be monitoring for sale stuff on a few forums however we was robbed a few week ago for about 600kg of copper and i bileave it was same people who come back (local kids/nobheads) so honestly bileave they wil be weighed in for what they were worth in ally as the local kids have a thing for scrap and they know my dad buys in used/broken motors for copper and do try and break in alot for the copper. Its getting worse around here however we have been asking around and may have a lead on to a lad who has weighed in

2.5-3 isnt the problem, as a 2.5" exhaust is fine for anything a td04 will throw at it so 3" will just be future proof and help flow. The problem i would worry about is at the bottom of the downpipe/begining of the exhaust theres a flange which with most systems is only 2.25" and that will start to be restrictive, mine was a 2.5" system however that flange was 2.25" and it was best described as "abit queer". The step up from 2.5 - 3" isnt a problem at all though.

The only problem with the japspeed systems is at the main flange (read bottom of downpipe) its a 2.25" flange then steps up to 2.5-3" and its a restriction in the flow even if your downpipe is 2.5, the only people i honestly say use a "true" 2.5" system is racetech and buddyclub was i think however obviously discontinued. Also in relation to downpipe dispute earlyer up ^^ Downpipe on starlets is the decat there both the same thing on starlets.
