  1. Lol sorry boys, didnt mean to leave you out Too many kits are too easy to get these days though, hence HRF or Doobie would be my choice if i where to kit the ep8* model.
  2. Does it have to cut the ignition? My mates s13 we just put the kill switch in line between the relocated battery and the positive for the entire car, so it cuts the feed from the battery to everything! Or do fia state a particular reg on what must be cut by the switch? Cutting the positive from the battery is the easiest way to ensure every thing dies!
  3. ^^^^ you'r car looks to damn sexy marc, no replica kit for you
  4. HRF!! be different, every man and his dog has a rep tom's and livesports kits now they are sooooooo easy to get hold of
  5. ^^ just like to add i built mine in my mum's living room after moving it out of my mates shed as i wanted it closer to get it done quicker. the building/shed isnt an issue its the care/prep/cleanliness and most importantly tolerances and construction of the engine that is important. I've builta a few engines for various cars, ill build ya one spark dog lol
  6. cause you can ollie, i had multi studs on with them and they are off my car lol. txt me we shall discuss you wont find much on the market lighter than your ray's!!
  7. Just because they are silly light and crazy rare my rays volk gr-n two piece wheels. You should just keep the rays you have mate!
  8. Talk to iddy dude as his reps come with the rep water shield failing that ill draw up how it used to go on when i had mine so you can make one, not alot too em tbh and no idea why wallace is jelly, he has my old one haha!
  9. ah man I've missed all of this! bad times sparkster still plenty more engines about get a beast of a forged in there. animal gt is selling his engine atm!
  10. i actualy dont know what to write! dave was a legend, spoke to him on many an occasion and met him a few times too always there when you needed advice. thoughts are with darren and the family. the starlet scene will not be the same without you, rest in peace dave.
  11. True the grip is awesome over fwd! Na scoops from lee whos breaking the 323gt at the mo. Needs some sanding and filling to make it fit perfect because im fussy lol, but fits quite well for a fibreglass part.
  12. Yea ill bung up a step by step with pics and measurements ect when we do it And thats why the 4wd arnt as common mike, the modding takes twice as long as a gt or glanza haha but is well worth it in the end. I've fitted my old TC shortshifter kit, and finaly managed to get hold of a reverse scoop wich is on now too. And will be collecting somthing awesome in the next few weeks
  13. What do you class as big power cars dean? Tbh i realy think the the punto's will struggle, big power starlets or not.
  14. Dont be sorry bud, if you cant ask on a forum then where can you ask every one needs to learn some where. 5e will use the same loom and plugs/sensors as a 4efe/4efte depending on if you are turboing it or not. If you are turboing it use a 4e head and inlet on the 5e bottom end and also time it in on the 4e marks not the 5e marks. If not turboing use full 5e engine and time in on 5e marks any thing else you need to know then just ask mate on a nother note, im about to stick my forged 4e from my old v in my 85 so i need to swap the sensor back to gt ones, when i do that ill pop the three you will need in an envelope and post them to you, all you will need then if you go turbo is loom ecu and any engine you can get your hands on
  15. As above cant stress how badly and quickly an engine can fail due to powdercoat peeling from inside, its very very deadly to an engine. A good powder coater should be aware of that though so if they do spray inside demand a refund and smack them round the head with your now useless rocker cover! Lol. On a side note I've got one a mate sprayed for me in accord midnight purple and 5 years later it still looks mint! Even though im about to sand it all down and respray it a different colour lol
  16. Thats jam skirts and a jam rear bumper by the looks of it so even with a donor v you would need to buy different body parts dude. And i say just buy what you need, so a 4efte from where ever and a glanza loom and ecu, far cheaper then a donor that you dont even want over half the parts from. Isnt that much to be made from oem glanza parts thesedays only big spec'ed cars will make you good money as a breaker. Less hassle to just buy whats needed dude.
  17. Lmfao!! They will honestly get thrashed to shit! Lol ill be up for it but only if i can race some of the bigger punto's tbh as the 85 will only be 4e but will be far to easy against the 1.4 puntos given the spec and the short ratio gearbox lol
  18. yea is just a handful of sensors, well three to be prcise the issue you will have is the loom, it will be a mission and as theres no wiring digrams on either car you will have to strip down and trace each one first! its a job that will take days not hours, best bet is get a gt breaker keep the engine and then sell off loads of other bits and buy a glanza full engine loom and ecu as it will be a far eaiser job then as its just a swap over.
  19. as above mate, if you cant trust the mods/admin and the traders then you cant trust anyone. they are all trustworthy chaps
  20. Tm-developments and tuning developments both sell them as far as i know
  21. Me and turbo grant will be up for this id of thought, so long as some one who live near will look after a car for us if the dreaded happens and one breaks down (socks or steve gt ) as its a fair trek from southampton lol either day is good for me
  22. Id recomend it mate. The powerflex engine bushes made a masive noticable difference on my V! Highly recomend it mate.
  23. Wheres the sparkdogs post!! Is he not want to thrashed on track??
  24. Compression test will help shed some light, plus maybe a full gas test buy a decent garage as it will show where the leak is ie, rings, valves, valve stems ect is a far more indepth check than the compression test. How long ago did you buy the engine? Id want a refund or money towards repairs tbh if it was only a little while ago, that said its unlikley anyone would do that as its a second hand engine and theres no way to prove you havnt cuased it due to driving hard ect.
  25. Yea rings or maybe valve stemseals my forged lump uses no more oil than any normal engine.
