If tge alternator is covered id say your oil pump or sump have leaked and you have run low on oil starced the bottem end and shagged a bearing. i wouldnt even start the car to trace the sojnd mate. jack it up n whip the sump off and inspect the bottom end befor you go from there as you could cuase more damage dude.

Is actualy 10%+2 to allow for inacuracey in speedo's. also dont panic davey if theres no paper work issued then your fine dude. if he does turn up to issue paperwork another day just stay very calm and polite and ask to see some evidence supporting the reasoning for the section 59 and plesently remind him its his job to show evidence supporting an offence not your job to show evidence supporting innocence. also check the paperwork carefuly as any spelling mistakes of personal info will void it as its not your details then. Checked your oil level? Lol sounds simple but we all always over look the simple bits. also dont forget is earths behind the dash and near the ecu etc. defo sounds like a charging issue of some type. battery failing to charge maybe?

Hmmmm far to much weight back there, think i may have to bin it all off dash should be back soon, 550's are in the post (hope they are big enough) smoothed rocker is fitted and engine bay is slowly getting there too. watch this space
