  1. know of a 300hp one on standard breather. i can make you a race spec cover if you want one though
  2. think i have a clean one will check later if i remember
  3. Completely stripped the interior, dash wiring baisically everything, have also taken out the sound deadening (hateful job that takes way too long) roll cage? Maybe Also went through the turbo engine wiring loom. Loads of silly connectors cut. Why are people so lazy the just cut them
  4. 4efe rocker cover modified to allow an8 fitting. Just need to get it tig welded. Have saved the program so if anyone's looking one done the same I can.
  5. Purchased a bride zeta 1 for the starlet. It apparently came out of Diago Saitos jzx he brought over to Ireland for a round of the IDC. Dean Kearney then bought the car off him and sold the seat to his friend who I have purchased it off. All true or not I don't know but it's pretty cool nonetheless.
  6. Not much progress on the car lately don't a few bits here and there. Took the full interior out and donated it to a friend. Took the back bumper off for the first time and found a decent sized rust hole in the drivers side. Should be easy fixed so not to bothered. Currently trying to organise getting a full msa roll cage welded in! Big plans for this wee car!
  7. I've just removed my power steering what do you need?
  8. Engine wise crank is the same conrods and pistons are different cams are the same valve springs are different A uk block doesn't have a knock sensor although it does have a location for one. Sumps are the same apart from the oil return from turbo
  9. Calipers are the exact same but carriers are different. Brake discs on glanza are bigger lower control arm buses are all same size. Drop links are different due to glanza using different style end on the anti roll bar handbrake cables are different as far as I know rear breaks uk spec has drums
  10. Got all the na engine wiring out. The bay looks rather naked now. It could do with a bit of a tidy up to be honest I wouldn't recommend spray paint it's just not as durable. Also got a chance to look over the wiring I took out of a rotten glanza shell I had. It had been broken but there was still a few bits left. Full interior wiring loom but no engine wiring also discovered a kinked fuel line yet another job to add to the long list developing.
  11. Thanks pal! Got a lot done over the weekend. I fear it shall be slow progress for a while though.
  12. Yes mate I'm going to go ask this week, just trying to gather as much information as I can first. Was initially just going to run a standard ecu, fcd and fpr. That may change though.
  13. Vitara pistons are a lot stronger than standard ones anyway. They also only cost 120 pound for a set so..
  14. I'm going to fit glanza wings this time round as I'm looking to get them vented. I'm also going to trim the inside lip as with the height and stance of my car it can catch and rip the tyre sidewall.
  15. Boy is it fun getting the number plate surround off! I wouldn't recommend doing this but since I'm stripping out the car anyway it didn't bother me. The surround is held on with x2 10mm nuts and 5 pop in plastic attachment yolke thingys. (They're hateful) I found them nearly impossible to get to and I didn't want to break them so I lifted the grinder and made them a bit more accessible. LoL Bit of weight reduction too I guess. I also removed all the wiring for the rear wiper and tidied it up a bit.
  16. Fitted my glanza boot and live sports spoiler. I love it adds to the aggressiveness of the front bumper. I have removed the number plate surround as there is a pinhole of rust behind it.
  17. Looking to build a new engine for my ep91. I am not chasing power only really looky 230 break so I can't justify speeding the money on forged pistons and rods as a standard engine would hold 230 no problem. I am however finding it hard to find standard pistons. I already have gt rods. Ive recently discovered that Suzuki G16B Pistons can work in a 4efte. They are 75 mm so require the block to be bored. But they are easy to source brand new at a decent price. Ive also discovered 2nz-fe pistons can work as well but there's a lot less information out there and don't s
  18. Just think how much surface area you've lost with those holes.
  19. So this was one of the bearings. Weird how it wore mostly on one side.
