Right this is due an update Since stage one of the re commissioning took place, and with the plan to run the car and not do a whole lot to it, stage two and then three has quickly followed. After using the car daily and having to get another MOT put on it a number of areas were highlighted where it needed attention, I had been doing little bits to it like a din slot and horn button and so on but I decided it needed a good going over so began to collect a number of service parts. This included a new low mileage Glanza gearbox, Exedy standard replacement clutch(which I'm beginning to regret already), a set of shafts and HKS oil cap(thanks Abbott) as one of mine began to get a bit noisy, Ball joints, trackrod ends, rear wheel bearings, new apexi filter, new breather filter, uprated shifter bushes. When it came to remove the box one of the shafts just would not budge from the hub even after buying a big hammer, then going back and buying an even bigger hammer, so a quick dash to Kent was required to pick up a spare hub to get the car rolling again(thanks krissyb). Although this resulted having to replace a front wheel bearing, as well as then having odd hubs one with a 55m center bore the other a 54mm which is a bit annoying and will need sorting in due course. Once everything was complete however what a transformation the front end felt tight, there isn't any noise from the rear and I didn't have to heel and toe going up and down the box anymore. There is a slight whine from the box though but its to long ago for me to remember if this is normal? I seem to be the only person who notices it I think I'm going to try some better fluid. With the general maintenance taken care of I decided to treat the car to another oil change and some Evo 7 seats which I really think add to the interior although they do need some proper mountings making up as I don't know what possessed the person who welded them they look terrible and offset both seats outwards from the centre of the car, if you were going to the trouble you would do a decent wouldn't you. Then around Christmas time I tied up a few loose ends such as cleaning out ICV and I also picked up these wheels from Ebay, I have never seen a set they have a nice dish are light and 7J, but unfortunately are Tawain made and not JDM Then after surviving the long January and acquiring a Blitz decat from Zoib to complete the ultimate CT9 JDM exhaust setup of Jam Racing Manifold, Blitz Decat and HKS Hi Power Silent, I was tempted by a forsale thread as we all do and ended up with one of these little things. A Tongs hybrid pictured with a standard compressor wheel for comparison. So this began my stage 3 and hopefully getting me a step close to the ideal setup where I will be content(yeah right lol its never ending) With the new turbo and downpipe I fitted all new gaskets, uprated the two remaining engine mounts with the JD ones(thank you Jeremy) an added a standard manifold heatshield and Cat support bracket as well as replacing all the rocker cover gaskets. Which resulted in this Although the camera makes it look a hell of a lot better than it really does. With the hybrid on I borrowed a mates AEM wideband to check the fuelling which although is just taken care of by just a FPR and FCD(I know) was nice and safe ranging from 11-12.5 at WOT through to the redline. Although this isn't the ideal setup it seems to be working well although my car paranoia is rife with 207km on the clock she is hanging in well with boost set around a bar but still creeping in this weather. This has however highlighted a number of oil leaks which are cause for concern and the question I ask now is do I rebuild before I hear a dreaded knock? I really don't want to ruin the engine as its clearly a good one, but I fear it might not be the same once opened. Once I do open it though I think if I use all Toyota bearing, gaskets and rings I should be able to produce something solid shouldn't I? I best get saving for stage four. Some pictures after a clean. I would like to know this also. Do they have a part number on? if so then the corresponding numbers should be stamped on the block. I think to do it properly you need to measure the journal at N,S,E,W then torque down the mains and do similar using a Micrometer and bore gauge.

As title states I'm after some rails for my Evo 7 Recaros, very worryingly one of the feet has broken of the current mounts due to the poor welding skills of the previous owner.

Looking for a replacement hub in Surrey area can collect tonight or tomorrow O/S DRIVERS SIDE Could a moderator edit the title got mixed up it the opposite side

Ep82gi could this be the problem the other side came out after a good hammering is there a retaining clip on the shaft for the hub?

I don't have a puller, but I recon it will probably break it. I've been hammering on it with a 2 and 4 pound lump, there's no movement.

In the process of attempting an overhaul on my drivetrain but I'm struggling to remove the near side driveshaft. I went and bought a hammer, and then I bought a bigger hammer but to no avail. Is it going to be a replacement hub or does anyone have any suggestion to remove it without going down that route.

Where from?

As title states is there an off the shelf option or is custom the only route. Currently have them fitted on some very poorly made rails which offset the seats so they aren't far enough into the center of the car, which is very annoying.
