PTFE will break down over time due to the additives in fuel. Loctite produce a specific thread sealant right for the job.

They do all affect one another which is why you go Camber, Castor, Toe when setting, but I wouldn't think its to that high a degree can you not compare/poach parts from the NA see if anything's out of shape.

They are my favourite wheels for a starlet had a set on my mk1 in the original paint. You don't see them for sale very often.
