  9. You do have to notch the block in most cases with the i beam design of rod like the Scat or Maxspeeding, however you can get Pauter rods which are very good quality and light which you pay for and they have clearance being a x design.
  10. Check any vacuum lines going to the inlet and throttle body they might be a contributing factor

  12. If it's taking more than 10 minutes on each valve something isn't right.
  13. It shouldn't take more than a few minutes on each one if the seats and valve faces are decent.
  14. You need to check the movement of the valve in the guide, I had to replace my exhaust side.
  15. You should be able to give them a little squeeze one way and then the other with the pliers and then wiggle them out. You'll get it down after a few. Or they do actually manufacture special pliers specifically for the job. Seat the valves either way, I lubricated the guide and seal when doing so.

  17. Contact JamesD89 I think he's still got a GT shell although I think it's quite bare now. It's located just across the bridge from you so not to far.
  18. They differ in design and the material content which can effect weight, expansion and strength. However for most application the capabilities of any will be fine, it's only when really pushing the envelope careful consideration needs to be given.
