I would buy it without the gearbox if you still like the feel of your current gearbox and it is without any issues. The stock 4efe gearbox should handle a stock 4efte without any issues. Wouldn't prioritize a LSD for now they are nice to have but not a true necessity.

The oem lsd for the 4efte should be out of the picture getting a complete unit with the custom mount and driveshaft is not an easy task. The viscous style is pretty much an open diff now and won't function like a lsd without a refurb imo. A helical lsd would be the best maintenance free LSD on the market as far as my knowledge goes. The black cap would be a reference to the endcap of your gearbox if I'm not mistaken. The 4efte ones are made completely of aluminium and the gearbox in the Corolla has a sheetmetal endcap coated in black paint. Gainzy is still selling a nice 4efte gearbo

Recently got a set of greddy license plates will definitely suits the greddy parts soon to be fitted/received. These holders fit plates from the USA, which are the same sizes as the plates which most import cars get here. Also got some braided an hoses and new foglight bulbs. Started to fit the tegiwa brake master cylinder stopper, to be fair it ain't a good kit, had to drill a bigger hole in the biggest bracket and had to cut the long bolt. Also they are a pain to fit, but well Cuscos also have these issues just not a lot of space to work with. Still need to complete the instal

After 15 months the time finally came to replace the old trusted steelies. Got a set of 4 jr 5mm spacers and a set of lug nuts. Replaced the steelies with some Enkies which have been powder coated with 3 new layers should last for quite some time. Wrapped the enkies is some nice bridgestone potenza re050a. So after owning my Glanza V facelift for around 1.5 years I have finally decided to start a progress blog. Actually haven't done much to the car yet since I owned it apart for the normal maintenance. I've been running generic 40mm red lowering springs which are fine and do not scrape to much. If I would buy lowering springs myself I would go for Apex ones which lower the car 35mm and new shocks(not just because Apex is a Dutch company😅). Apex offers a good warranty for the first owner and 40mm is just to much for standard shocks imo.

yup, there's one little mod you need to do is get a red bulb for the rear fog light or the red bulb cover from the glanza unit.

Interesting cams seem to be old stock can't find them anymore on piper cams. Since my cams are a bit worn may start looking into alternatives. Any big gains from these with a ct9 or near worthless with stock ct9? Looking good some quality parts going into the starlet. I'm looking into some breather mods for mine, did you notice any over boosting yet with the decat and exhaust?

Anybody got pictures of the original footwell lights loom for a glanza and a picture of the connectors where it goes in between. Does the Na starlet also have these connectors and plugs for the loom?

A Toyota parking pole which lights up in blue. Needs a bracket to be fitted to a starlet or any other car. Still in good condition, has a bit of paint bubbling near the bottom but not major yet. 60gbp includes shipping/fees to the UK. Are billet ones rounded around the edges to preferent high friction chipping?

Most Japanese imports have poly carbonate plastic lenses sadly. They are more impact resistant(safer in a collision since glass shatters all over the place) and cheaper to make than glass. Bad part for us they start to haze ones they get old and lose the protective silicone layer😞. I have used meguiar's keep clear headlight coating 2 times now on my mint set of headlights. They still look good but the only way to remove it is with isopropyl alcohol which should't damage the lenses since poly carbonate has excellent resistance against isopropyl alcohol. I have been under the impression that the only contacting surface is the top of the valve, but this can of course be false. Car will probably run for years to come(famous last words). We'll see if they deteriorate more it is a good excuse for some uprated ones😅 Edit: Read about how the cams etc work, and thing are getting more serious now. Toyota definitely didn't deliver them like this. The full lobe is in contact with the shim so pressure seem to have chipped the lobes😔. Could have been some bad parts in the casting which chipped under stress after many miles.
