  2. Cool 'artsy' pics Cool result too with the large discs. Im almost certainly going to be investing in this kit. My only worry with it is bleeding the system correctly once fitted (never done it before) Perhaps you could right up a dummies guide to bleeding your brakes? Mitch
  3. Scot-ish- yeah dude, im farely competent with my hands etc. Im just paranoid i would take forever and end up not finishing it. Right UPDATE. I did a re-test once the engine had warmed up to normal operating temps. I received: 1.170 2.171 3.174 4.173 wheeey, now thats an improvement. For any one using the search bar;Compression test when the engine is warm/just ran. Mitch
  4. As far as i am aware. Its ran standard boost since factory. The car is currently off the road and has been ran once or twice over 4+months. Approx 95k miles I wish it was as simple to just rebuild the engine. but its alot of time and effort... ive never taken an engine out of a car before. However... i think i would consider it depending on how bad the engine really is. Think im going to re-test it once warmed up. A possibly theory could be that becuase the components arent at operating temp.. the rings wouldnt of expanded creating a tight seal.... meh. i hope. Mitch

  6. Ive just done a compression test on a cold 1993 GT 4e-fte. Open throttle. Looking from the front,left to right. 1. 160 psi 2. 148 psi 3. 150 psi 4. 141 psi. I re-tested the 1st cyclinder as it was largely different from the rest and ended up receiving a slightly higher result. I only tested the other 3 cylinders once Would the engine being cold have any effects etc? How does it look? Cheers Mitch

  8. Heard about the guy that cleaned his chain with a rag? Well, he thought... to make this quicker il put the bike on the cntre stand, engage first and allow the bike to tick over (driving the wheel round). He gets the rag on the moving chain and begins cleanign the shit off it... what does it do? He gets his hand caught in the chain and end up taking his hand up and aroudn the rear sprocket.... You can imagine what his hand looked like. he even took a picture just after it happened LOL Mitch

  10. Faisal/Ricko- oh,fair enough. Perhaps i was just hoping for a bargain. Of course, i wouldnt expect it to cope with 330cc injectors runnign 1.2 bar on some silly big turbo. How ever i would expect it to fuel ok running stock injectors etc and standard boost? Mitch
  11. Im rocking the CT9. not going to be running above .8 bar i think. If its anything like the Jam's/access's it should adapt.. hopefully. Id be RR'ing the car to ensure AFR's are all cool. But you want 450gbp odd... If you had a more realistic price i would consider it. Mitch
