  1. It will work, depends on how much your going to push the cooling system? Personaly if i were you i would go for the alloy one, proven to work.

  6. Hey i know its not mandatory, but even with base maps, they can be a mile off, and i witnessed this only last week From what i was told from a few people that map them, there easy to work with so a base map isnt nessecary to get going. BUT i understand what your wanting with the forum, again hints and tips go a long way when it comes to this type of stuff. That i will sign up for later when i get home and have time.
  7. The idea is there but i think its not a good idea. Just remember that 80-90% of peoples maps will be from a reputable tuner, Not there own. Fair enough sharing hints and tips, but i personally wont be handing over any of the maps i have, as there not my own work.
  8. Did you remember to tension the inlet cam gear? Also when forged motors are cold, the pistons will "slap" until they heat up a bit.
  9. Sure its a 2 ltr Last i knew after speaking to Stiggy was it was a 2.4 ltr lol. Certainly sounds the berries though!
  10. I know when my brother imported his CRX siR, a few weeks after he received a package from Newera imports with all previous documents, even stuff from when bought new in japan. He didnt even ask, he just got them
  11. Yeah its running on standard management just now until i go over on tuesday to see Chris. Aye he will be coming over agin soon, but im impatient, so decided to take time off work and pop over.
  12. Lets hope these inlets work as well as they look. I had nothing but problems with mine, had to re-do all the threads as Ricky cut them with a spoon.. and at the same time they were squint... Not very well finished i must say. As i say lets just hope it works after the work ive put into it. Who are you getting mapping by? Chris or Sam?
  13. Agree. Chris all the way with Emanage Ultimate.
  14. Have you got the caps on the right way? I presume you have ACL bearings, if so there the same

  18. Sorry to hear min. But its the reason i take a pic of the mileage before i drop it off anywhere. If they take it out obviously the mileage changes I found a garage out by doing this. Simple yet efective.
  19. Wrong. If the wastegate wont open, it will overboost, if the wastegate flap falls open, it will take an age to create boost. Your arse for elbow.
  20. Im presuming it was dynoed at AVA? Would take there numbers with a pinch of salt. They come standard with 150 bhp at the crank, so a set of cams, chip and the usual wont gain anywhere near 50 horse. But for £200 of the queens finest, why not, the redtop motor is a braw torquey thing.
  21. You will be fine with the clutch Ryan Ive used one now for 2 years, and you know how my own car gets treated... heh heh. MAni looks awsome, mine should have been hear yesterday (friday) Didnt appear So im stuck.
