  1. Got any pics of what you have to do for this cus I'd like to try it myself but don't want to mess anything up.
  2. 1990's = the best. /end of topic
  3. Sounds good to me, I'd stick with 180-200 on the standard CT9 turbo as it's nice and small so you will have almost no lag and is good for around 1 bar.
  4. Had a look on a couple of calculators and at 700kg and an easily achievable 160bhp this thing will be good for less than 5 secs 0-60, and if you go a bit silly with it and get it up to around 250bhp you will be doing 60mph in around 3.6 seconds.
  5. AFAIK the 4EFE ECU runs fine on the 5EFE and I think a fair few people have done it.
  6. That there is a Pacesetter 5EFE exhaust manifold. As far as I am aware no one on UKSC has tried it on a 4E. Was looking into it myself a short while ago, couldn't find any info on it though.
  7. lmfao good one Idrees
  8. Were there many of these buggy things made? I saw one the other day, thought of your project straight away lol
  9. Hi mate nah the standard handling setup is pants, I was giving my mate's Clio a run earlier through slightly bendy roads doing about 65-70, he was getting round easy whereas I was struggling to hold on lol. I don't know wether your coilovers need adjusting or anything like that but you might want to get yourself a rear anti roll bar and an adjustable panhard rod. Not sure if you've already read it or not but have a quick scan through this: http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....&article=17 I would have thought you would be ok on your coilies but when you lower Starlets the rear a
  10. lmfao On topic: as far as I know the TOMS ECU is similar to other plug & play ECUs like the Blitz one for example.
  11. One thing I'd like to bring back is the subforum links on the main page, so you can get to specific subforums easily without having to click through numerous different pages... Also being able to minimize the iCommerce thing would be nice, it gets in the way.
  12. cheers for the comments people used a weeks worth of petrol in one day :|
  13. Not over the top at all, everyone should have a room like that. Big tv, a laptop, some decent car seats and some big subs.
  14. It makes a great difference to performance. An increase in overall power aswell as giving you power much higher up the revs whereas the standard manifold is crap and power fades off too quickly with it. The best thing is they are cheap, I got mine for £25 delivered although some have paid £50+.
  15. I wouldn't have paid that price for that high milage but other than that it sounds ok. First mod I would do is get the Corolla inlet manifold and then sort the handling.
  16. While we're on the subject of suspension, how do you rate the Whiteline Panhard rods? I'm going to be getting one but how much does it help the handling other than allowing you to get the tracking right? The standard panhard rod is hollow and flexible compared to the Whiteline ones, so obviously there's got to be some sort of improvement there?
  17. Looks ok to me but is probably mega loud.
  18. Thanks Sam Possibly going to get them on the car in the next two weeks or so...not sure yet though. Need to buy a panhard rod first.
  19. I'd definately change back to 15" wheels, you will lose acceleration with those nasty big 17s. Changing the manifold is pretty straightforward although two bolts are awkward.
  20. I put them on the same way them came off, although I can't see it making much difference which way they go on, might be wrong though. But I am pleased with the way the paint came out on them, before they were more Toyota Rust Development rather than Toyota Racing Development... Can't wait to get them on the car now though.
  21. Few crap camera phone pics of the springs, lighting is bad so colour looks a bit different but you get the idea: And a front one next to a front KYB New SR Special: Managed to use a bit of "man power" lol and got a rear spring onto the shock without using a spring clamp, nut is only loosely done up for the pic though. I think they look quite good apart from the rust patches on the shocks... not that it matters as you wont see any of it once it's on the car.
  22. Sounds a bit optimistic to me.
