im pretty sure there was a 98 spec rear light wiring tutorial on here but i cant seem to find it? its to wire them up for the starlet sportif. if anyone has got it could you please post it up cheers Dean

in the pic they have up with the car that isn't even 1 of there kits fitted its just a hdi rubber hose and core! it has welded steal or stainless steal pipe on inlet side and the hotside pipe isn't there's its a j'performance pipe because the hdi pipes are really small diameter! Dean

as we broke up from work today we had our secret santa presents, working with 25 or so people there was going to be some funny stuff but when my present consisted of a wrapped up shopping trolly! i shit my self (possibly some1 hiding in the trolley) but when it come to me i was shocked to find in the trolly 65 2litre bottles of cheap coke lol looks like ill be stocked up for a while

^^^cheers dude whoop whoop get my bottom end back tomorrow. had the crank re ground and all new bearing to match no wonder the bottom end started knocking crank needed 20 thou off lol should be sweet now hopefully??? watchout for updates some more ace bits going on to this Dean

i dont think ill be putting a flap on it tbh although i will be making an aluminium bung to put in when its parked up, when im driving pretty sure the rain water will just evaporate on the hot pipe plus when on boost the gases being pushed out should allow very little water to get close hopefully, the biggest problem with the screamer out the bonnet is in the dark with on coming headlights and the heat hayz coming from the hot gasses causes poor visibility so that's why its pointing out the pasanger side. my gf can have all the gas and crap coming out of it Dean

haha cheers guys, ridiculous or not its staying! its all about being different just cant wait for boost and flames!!! still need to fit the water tray and black mesh on the bonnet along with aero catches. went down the unit earlier and in less that 2 hours engine is ready to come out (getting pretty good at this game now) Dean

^^ ye really lol it was on the road for about 4 hours lol on a good note it sailed thought the m.o.t and now has tax so when it is working i can drive it straight away. engine is coming back out so the crank can be re ground with matching bearings etc in the meantime im going to get all the skirts 98 spec lights fitted etc so should look mint, tbh im absolutely loving the front end now ill get some pictures up! and ohh my god!! is it loud! bangs when you change gear the lot lol think i will end up putting a backbox on it tbh sounds abit tractory at low revs Dean

thanks for the great comments. i will be making more RW-Development inlets and running group buys at great prices!just after Christmas as soon as the car comes back and work chills slightly, its like organised chaos atm! @ josheyboy006. it should be on the road end of the week so we can organize a meet or TOA next Monday if its ready? @Taggy. 5e has been built up by me and DKellis off here must admit ive had my fair share of problems with this engine though(fingers crossed it runs fine) @snails ep91. gearbox head and block were painted with the intercooler paint we have at work which is basically just primer, nothing special. works great though. as soon as the cars on the road and i fit the emanage ill run back to back tests comparing the standard inlet and the RW-Developments inlet at equal boost levels! to see how it compares? now just waiting for some conrod nut/bolts to turn up from belgium cheers Dean
