also i got a blanking plate (as shown in mickys pic) can have it for a £10 plus a quid or to postage if you want?
-
havent read all the post because i'm lazy lol. as you stated blue is open, that the outlet. red is the connection onto your intercooler pipe. or efi. yellow... now you have two as you can see. top one as Jo showed is the vac source. so run your vac line to that. the bottom is an extra vac line. most dont bother but it pressurises the base of the bov, making it much quicker to reach and release pressure. it's something to do will extra quick release. not much point on a starlet as they not that powerful. mainly there to big power cars to prevent surge. also as the greddy is adjustable, win

meh not to my taste, since i'v had a tubby there is no way i'm going back to n/a. good little cars though, but will never own one lol

^^^ you forgot an ecu to get it mapped. so basically used or new td04 kit -£800- 1200+ Emange blue/ ultimate -£500-700 buying and mapping. don't need an ebc but it might help a tad- used from £100-250 dependant on how much boost you wanna run, forged engine, injectors, brakes, etc etc cars have been ran at over 1bar without any problems but some can go on stock boost, so it's all a bit hit and miss... depends on engine condition, mileage etc.

http://www.freewebs.com/djnos/glanza/mapsensor2.JPG thats the map sensor, it will run to your ecu. (circled in red) are you trying to take the vac source from it i take it? basic connections are: turbo- apexi solenoid actuator- apexi solenoid apexi solenoid- vac source. apexi solenoid cable into cabin, connect up to apexi controller unit. then just find a live and earth so connect to. i 'think' that is all there is to them, cant remember as it's been a while since i was connecting up my apexi ebc :S
-
just thought you had found some way to have a plug and play ebc! haha. its possible but allot more hassle then it's worth. plus i'm not sure it would like the brake in the line. so many people have them in there turbo cars i wouldn't worry about it. as long as you have a good cat1/2 alarm. there shouldn't be any problems
-
how are you going to take it out of the car?? it will be all wired in?
-
Apexi's are very complicated at first... if your not confident with setting one up i wouldn't. mine took a while, as you cant just enter a boost value you have to set a duty. plus your injector duty and other crzy things lol very good ebc but can be complex until you get used to it. and with mounting you have kind of ruled out most possibilities, especially if your not willing to mount it. Velcro would work, or your only other option would be to set it up in the glove compartment so its always out of show. so people wont know you actually have one... but i like looking at mine lol so it's al

nearly as fast as mine! lol. such an amazing spec!! Thats Luke's place! right near me... that's were i get all my work done, only person i would every trust near my car. His Bro JulesB is on here, he also works there when needed. both he and i had glanza'a that luke worked on. anycar that has been maintained and worked on by luke at Pacific Works will be mint!!

sweet!... nothing more to say :surrender: i'm sure as always this thing will get ever more insane!
-
nah doubt that would have caused it to go, would have just ran super rich and possibly a bit lumpy. make sure a metal head gasket goes back on also just drop off the sump and check there are no metal pieces in the oil better to check then not
-
give then ending a replay a few times... defo a civic ek9
-
that was a civic... looks like an ek9

i think a really nice deep maroon colour, like the Gt red colour but with a deeper metallic to it. maybe like this but with more depth me thinks http://www.heritageclassics.com/jaguar/68etypeburg2/A1.jpg

Looking lovely! but i expect some gleaming pics when summer comes round. good bath, polish and some awesome pics. not likening this freeeezing weather
-
could put it up for 2.5k and wait if your in no rush... doubt you'll get more then that at this current time. glanza's sell for 3k+ so will be hard to get a GT to sell around the same, tiz a hard tome to sell I'm afraid buddy
-
dependant on overall condition, mileage ect i would say around the 2-2.2K mark (without the turbo badge! ) depends how quickly you wanna sell it, 2k and it should sell pretty fast i think, see what others say though.
-
not necessarily, if the fcd is set to anything it will be going something... it could be leaning off the whole boost curve. i would set it to 0 or take it out... unless you want it, in which case get a rrfpr and get the fueling looked at @Mickey , it will come down soon. unless your busting more ethernet crimes!
-
depends if it's actually set up... do you have a boost gauge? what boost are you running? if you are running like 0.85 or 0.9 then potentially yes you could damage your engine, check your boost if to high lower it. with out a rrfpr to increase the fuel pressure you might be running leaner then usual... but thats all dependant on if it's actually doing anything lol
-
Isnt mike at monster motor sport a gran light dealer? one of the traders on here is just cant remember which one it is yeah joz has gram lights... not sure if Rick and Harrison sorted that out though? could be well off lol
-
Hks silent hi power would be my choice if you want more without much noise... will probably be more then say a blitz but will be much quieter. or custom... it's not hard to silence off a system, just more baffles and wire wool

Fucking immense thread!!! what a read! I almost went to a Hatfield meet with this fucker when i had my glanza. good news with the money, glad that's all sorted... why people like this think they can get away with it is beyond me. and he's still trying to lay the blame on his brother over on TGTT what a bullshitter, took me sooo long to read as half of what he wrote i couldn't actually read haha! ahh what a awesome TREAT this is
