  1. Nice! take it that was around 1.2bar? is that on the stock ecu? I might just come steal your charge cooler when your not looking could really do with one!
  2. , i love you Phil! what he said ^^^ bring on the boobies!
  3. erm there not overly hard to sort out yourself... it's only a boost controller but if your not to confident then i would get it wired and set up professionally. if you haven't used such a complicated ebc before it can be a bit crazy as you look through the setting and go WFT!? there are so many where do i start? I'v set up all my ebc's by myself but i'm a bit of a tech head and love just fiddling and learning all the working of them... if your confident give it a go, but on the otherhand Nick or another tuner will set it up to it's optimum if you get it RR'd at the same time.
  4. Final speed A-tech erasers, you will be very lucky to find another single alloys. not even may sets come up for sale http://www.marukanet.co.jp/a-tech/eraser.html there a light weight jap alloy... best bet would be to get someone to sift through yahoo actions for you and hopefully find one, only other place might be a ebay or a honda forum. good luck is all i say
  5. I think looks wise it's pretty awful, but mechanically that's amazing... just thinking about everything that has to work for that the even role and be safe. amazing work!
  6. that's a very impressive result.... but am i the only one who thinks that's an awful lot of transmission loss? over 300bhp but 222whp that's a big percentage loss. either way like amazing result and i bet it's ridicules quick!, anything over 300 and it's just madness! my mr2 always puts the back out if i floor it so i can only imagine the fun you are going to have keeping this in a straight line
  7. well still haven't herd anything from the courts which is both a tad annoying but kinda nice at the same time annoying because i would like to go down to Nick@tuningdevelopments and get it mapped on the Power FC, but there is no point if i get banned and it gets garaged or sold. Nice because i can still drive the beasty around in the lush sun we have had recently with the T bars off decided hmm i must mod something though lol... so bought some new Falken 452 rear tyres some NGK Iridium plugs and some blue 8.5 Magnecor HT leads, will slap all those on soon and that might make things a bit
  8. sounds like they no sweet F A about these cars mate. parts arnt as easy as say the old Honda boys but 'hard to get a hold of'? naaa lol, loads of traders on here now and on tgtt, parts are easy. also 'always things going wrong' perhaps for the chavtastic owners that slap on a FCD and bang up the boost... 1bar yO!... bang! ahhh as long as the car is well looked after, regular oil change/service and is modified properly with knowledge. i would say the engines are fairly bombproof considering there only a 1.3 as a first car the turbo is going to be out your league mate to put it bluntly... i
  9. in simples terms... yes. all dependant to mods and boost levels. @glanza_ragger is your timing stock? i ran close to that at wot but had advanced timing so needed it to be a tad richer.... don't have my AFR graphs anymore other wise i would slap them up
  10. you can get new codes online... they cost about £6 i think but they do work, done it once on my first fiesta i bought. but if someone can get them for free possible that would obviously help out more lol.
  11. where is that hairbrush going? awesome pic anyway!... me likey
  12. well as above then matey , i personally wouldn't but it's up to you.
  13. are you talking about the top sensor or the bottom just to double check?... the car will run ok without the lower but definitely a no no without the top
  14. lol, running without your lamber is going to make your car run like crap... any potential gains from putting on your fmic will be lost and you will probably loose even more power due to over fueling. it's all upto you though
  15. without the lamber?... for a very short time yes, not long term. it will make your car run very rich and pretty crappy. why would you want to run without one?
  16. a blowing mani will give different pressure readings and levels to a normal mani. so the map (if they map it) will differ and will be poor. you will only potential have to get it remapped once it's sorted as you might find you run rich with the increased pressure and heat build, see if it actually blowing, if it is sort that out first... will save you money in the long run.
  17. ahh dont this will lead to a massive debate on does comp stall damage a turbo to answer your question gtr mate... i think the glanza has a hybrid turbo, mine sounded identical to that and i ran the tong hybrid, also depends on the boost as to how intense and the type of 'chatter' will be created and how open a filter you have. a front mount filter along with a fmic will really open up the sound created by the turbo and so the sound created by comp stall will be different personally i don't think it will do any damage, such a small amount of boost from the ct9 will never kill its self. i ran
  18. I wont write what i think as you wont like the responce lol... would go along the lines of WFT! though. not my cup of tea
  19. personally not a fan of the intercooler there, i have mine behind my head in the mr2 (and that's behind glass and the heat shield etc) and it's soo loud lol... one touch of the peddle and all you get is a massive sucking noise 'chuuuuu'. so i can only imagine that will probably kill your ears at the air is blasted through the piping and the core. might get damaged from stones popping up etc as well... but it's your beasty so obviously your decision haha, i personally think side mounted would be most efficient though. but... looking schweeet lol
  20. why would you want to bounce of the limiter anyway? just causes excess damage and there isn't any power that high up the rev range anyway. also remember the gauges are always 100% accurate.. ecu might read 7500, but actual facial could be reading a tad over 7500.
  21. just read mate, can take more boost and will probably quite happily but be it on your head if anything goes wrong.
  22. Look very similar to the SPS ones Dane used to sell... not the prettiest looking but seem to use some nice strong materials and methods to producing those. also with a 1 year warranty they cant be to bad... but at that price i would prefer to buy of a trader on here just for double protection and peace of mind.
  23. good good man! if only all bro's where so generous *waits for my bro to give me some money to mod my car* such a car should never be broken for parts. will be wicked to see it back up and killing up the tracks
