  3. @Keri-wms haha, did you not realise when the turbo didnt spool something wasnt right? oh it doesnt have one lol. can pick up an gts cheap as chips lots of me talking with very little pic lol so i though i would be nice and put up a few of my little bits i have: Fuel pump, HT Leads, Spark plugs, Locking Rays wheel nuts, huuge spigot rings lol and my rolled arches: nothing special but can go over bumps with out scrubbing now which is nice that's it for now... on the look out for an extended long stud if anyone knows where to pick one up?
  4. yeah i know what you mean about working on them... i could quite easily take out and work around a V's engine no problem. but the dam MR2 engine is in a bit of a nightmare location and anything past head related things usually means dropping the engine out! I still really really don't no, if i get a Subaru it will be a modern blob eye or hawk eye.... if i get an Evo it will be an Evo6/7 engines seem all good on the 7 and spec wise you get alot for your money. will be doing some thinking over these next few weeks and see what i decide.

  6. well you seem to have made a decition... i cant talk i pussied out and bought an mr2 rwd is mighty fun, fuel will be your biggest expenditure by far. good luck with whatever you do mate, i do know what you mean about the money and putting alot into these can be hard as the return isnt great.

I seem to have been a VERY lucky gent and got away with the alleged speeding offence , long story short i rang up the district area police that have all records (like the database central point) they didnt have anything on file about me... its been two months and the managing police officer said it would be likely i will hear nothing of it.   10. the ones in the original ebay add are not lol, cheap springs will rust through and eventually snap or corrode and kinda crumble. Apex do good suspension components, i had some Apex coil overs and they where brilliant

  12. knock sensor is located right at the back of the engine, on the bottom of the block... should be green with some wires coming out, can be a bit of a bitch to get at and get off lol. if your knock sensor was playing up it would be pulling timing from the engine and retarding it, so it would feel like its trying to accelerate but just wont go type thing. mine didn't effect the idle but it might cause some effect, but i would look else where for an idle problem. knock sensors from Toyota cost a fooking bomb, so best putting up a wanted thread and find a good condition second hand one.
  13. Don't know if you have raised it again but looks like you got a bit of positive camber/toe-out on the fronts? looks like it needs a tweak in slightly to negative... might just be me though . looking mean though

  15. yeah that should sort your problem... if it doesn't try re connecting the bypass and see what boost you get then, if it back up to normal you probs just connected a pipe a bit loose or something vac/boost related came loose. but will must likely be no back pressure, causing some major performance losses.

If its a kakimoto it will all need changing at some point... they don't make stainless systems so have a tendency to rust through. so dependant on how long its been on the car it might only last out another year on our shitty, salt filed roads lol I made my BlitNurspecR straight through not one single box and i made more torque then power on the Rollers ... but that was with a hybrid.
  17. well considering you have pretty much stated the answer... how are you going to get full boost with the exhaust blowing like a mofo? you will be loosing all your back pressure, which will in turn effect performance. try putting the bypass back on and see what boost you get... but your arnt going to get much with a blowing exhaust.

  19. you don't really map a Safc... merely set up the fueling parameters. bhp depends entirely on boost level, turbo etc etc... but i have seen people run 200bhp on a hybrid and slightly higher on a td04 (with full supporting mods) dependant on what you want power wise, the main process would be get full supporting mods (exhaust, decat, mani, fmic etc etc) then you would look to get a FCD and RRFPR... fuel pressure would get set quite high so that you arnt running lean on WOT (full throttle)... then the guys at a RR will take the Safc and start to lower the fueling in the early rev range as you w

  23. yeah i raised this issue with Enzo a while ago.... its just firefox, if you use IE its fine. soon as a new update comes through from firefox it should sort it out but at the moment there isnt anything that can be done.
