How much will delivery be on top for one of these to NI Sam?

You can get a 0.5mm trd head gasket as well because I have one waiting to go on.The raise in compression will be fairly small. I have no means to measure the compression ratio rise as I dont have the skills but a decent engine specialist or mechanic will be able to calculate this for you. There is no accurate way to measure or predict what benefits or drawbacks you are going to have from fitting one, the same goes for the obx. Im the only one known in the UK to fit an obx to my 4EFE and it wasnt great, it is designed for the 5EFE after all. The 4E lacks torque and it will find it hard to make much more without extensive headwork geared towards extra torque which will still be minimal. There needs to be more na owners attempting these tuning options before more accurate info can be given. The only way to measure gains before and after adding modifications are the rolling road and dyno. There is no correct option, if you have the budget and inspiration try some things for yourself.

Tuning the N/A for more power with a larger powerband
Jozinobi replied to ste91's topic in N/A E-Series Engine Discussions
Aye it was crazykid who had the 6 speed. Was there actually any acceleration improvement though besides the mistaken overdrive... he didnt mention any? There are other ways to keep the power going but you are right, gearing and especially a better final drive could be very beneficial (but expensive) on an n/a but Im not going to try it. Im banking on a lightened flywheel and underdrive crank pulley to even the odds on the accel front and the diff to put it all down to the ground better. Im also thinking of going for polybushes all round which I will do in time. -

Switch to a 5E and you will have more potential from the off because the 4E has less power and torque to begin with Thats an instant 15bhp and 10ft/tq that you wouldnt get from spending the same on breathing mods for the 4E. Its more of a low to midrange engine and could really suit you as you seem to be against peaky or thrashy engines. You will be limited by the 4E and won't get the same effect even with all those mods. Thats my mod recommendation. The 6 speed has been tried before by another n/a member and there didnt seem to be much improvement. -
Nice work with the piping James. I've sent you a pm. Talk soon

Welcome to the site mate. Have a good look around and get a feel for where everything is. You will find a lot of useful content in EP Technical where we have Wikis, a dedicated technical section and resolved archive. A lot of help and already covered issues are contained in there so please have a good look before posting anything up. We all had to start somewhere with our starlets, enjoy the site and most importantly your stay. There are guides on how to post photos etc in the new members section. It would be nice to see what your Glanza looks like. Joz@UKSC Team

The backbox would have the most effect on the end sound but the induction intake would also contribute to the effect it as well. With it being a proper mandrel bent decat system as standard there is no flatspots unlike the powerflow I had before but it does get considerably raw. Headers (exhaust mani's) have their own sound. -
No worries man :surrender: I sent mine back to Sheekey yesterday. Talk soon.

Glad to hear you are now up and running Sam. All the best with everything regarding the Garage EP store. We look forward to some of the unique and exclusive products and services that you will be offering us. Joz@UKSC Team

I received one wrong diff bearing so gotta send that back to Sheekey. Its not gonna delay anything as my car isnt in my mechanics garage yet nor is the gearbox out for my other mechanic to fit the diff. I just gotta keep visiting my main mechanic and put pressure on him until he can fit me in lol. 5l of Silkolene Gear Oil has been ordered also. In the meantime I'm keeping hold of my pennies. All parts are ready and sitting here in my office lol. -
