  1. you would need too cut out a part of the column not the rack to fit the part in the link what i would say is send in the rack to them too have a look they might be able to supply a rack and pinion for it its on the cards for mine too. turning aprox 180-220deggres to turn 90 corner (speed related )
  2. but i did have a converstion with them about the rack which can be done
  3. you can add a reducer to the column https://shop.quaife.co.uk/quaife-ratio-change-steering-box-for-power-steering
  4. There’s a few here ! Idrees hope your well long time no see last time we meet was when I dropped the 5e too you years back !!!
  5. It’s running a Motec m400 and it has been running it for almost 4 years
  6. the car has seen 420bhp at 1.4bar but now sits around 370 bhp anything more than this opens another can of worms hillclimb, track and the road in that order
  7. try close too 10k once you add additional final drive, atb and a diffrent inlet manifold to get flat shift working thats not counting ecu but it beats having to pay for a gearbox everytime you take it out !
  8. should of just bought the one i offered you at almost half that price ! bnib
  9. Refresh the head, uprated vavle springs , under shim buckets are a few thing to think about ?
  10. i not seen any differance between white line or power flex they both have sloted holes. the bushes on the white line used too pop out but this was when they first made them back in 2007 since a few complants they made the bushes without the slit. ive used both the problem you will have the more + castor you add the more strain you add too the front bush. try go another route if its track car only ( rose joints ) regards gee
  11. 100% also when people give advice on here some of it is bollocks the things i read are just a joke whats giving these cars and there add on parts bad names are these kind of people. not enough tech talk just a heard of sheep following the sheppard
  12. sometimes blows at 7500/8000 ? what data do you have too say this ? does the turbo your using still make power at this rev band ? dyno graph ? for the need too rev this high ? i presume youve changed your head gasket more than a few times? how many times have you decked the block ?
  13. id be more worried about keeping the car stright at -4 than tyre wear !
  14. depends on where you want too get your camber from ? top mount around -3.5 shock too hub bolts = as much as you need (Need being the key word here) i hope this is not a stance question !
  15. What is the main cause of head gasket failure = excessive boost for components used e.g oem headgasket, oem head bolts . poor tune the list can go on.. bottom end failure = again being unrealistic with the amount of load components can take vs power goals = ticking time bomb. poor tune poor machine work etc etc vtec rev range hmm i think thats around 10000 rpm i havent seen or heard of a 4e or 5e rev too that and live too tell the tale ! but i have seen them rev too 9000 rpm all day long but that involes alot of R&D and money
  16. your best too look up the info via your part no http://arp-bolts.com/p/instructions.php
  17. Circuit and hillclimbs The above graph is kph equivalent to 130mph top speed You'd need to know a top speed goal and also know what revs your in boost and you will have almost instant boost in all gear changes My example above was too show you how much rev drop there is when going up the gears
  18. I'm more interested in custom gearing too suit my needs the picture below is a customers evo The aim is too keep the car stable and in boost Look at rev drop between gear changes then add a 40ms gear change and you have a car which drives like a cvt gearbox ;)
