Most jap cars like our eps should have red hot heaters after about 10-15 min...mine are never above halfway and always on no1 speed which is enough wish it was climate controlled tho!
-
N/A mate......would be good for someone to try them on a turbo and see how they fair as the turbo will obviously build up speed much quicker and heat them up much faster/better to get a good bite the red pad is always overlooked i highly rate it

do you have coilovers, my originals have started to split with the miesters.....it seems the bracket isnt adjusted right so when turning it rubs/stretches ive played about to get it right but its not 100% would take alot to mess a braided line up unless it was cheap to begin with....get onto HEL directly and see what they say dont mention the bracket thing tho

i say just get a set of track alloys with T1Rs (cheap and fun) and save the rainsports for the road (awesome tyre by the way wish i could use them), set them to roughly what you had last time and get a small compressor pump....only youll know what works for you everyone has different preferences id never use my road tyres on track its a long way home esp with a bent rim/fucked tyres if something happens, just my personal prefferences find a cheap set of 15" rims (as ugly as you like it doesnt matter tbh) and get new shoes put on....scrub them in for about 500 miles then there ready for the tr

iA Im going to put together a MOT guide soon when i have some time as a check list, especially with the new rules coming in

Youll be fine, if they are not fitted then they cant test them....if the beam is correct your sorted....in most cases especially the starlet it isnt, ive yet to see anyone post a beam picture of the GT "projector type" lenses fitted with a HID kit if they are fitted and dont work its a fail, if it doesnt have them what can they fail? i.e the glanzas dont have side repeaters it never came with them so what can you fail? the way the test is carried out the tester has no means to check the self levelling suspension From the Good Book: Vehicles equipped with High Intensity Discharge (HID) or

Just to add my 2p Accelerating slowly is the key i find, theres no point watching the gauge our tanks are a werid shape i find the first half takes ages to drop then at half way theres roughly £10-15 worth of fuel in the tank so it falls like a mofo check the fuel pressure/coolant temp sensor/lambda sensor....mapping should deffo help things across the board also check the base ignition timing my old N/A drank loads when i did the "ignition advance" mod when turned back it was like day and night getting 35ish is great for our cars imo

Happy new year lads

Probably the crank seal at the timing belt side
-
The new rules arent fail items yet its later in the year when they will apply
-
amjad, iirc when the indicators on it has to either flash the dash light and/or make the clicky noice either one is a pass doesnt have to have both they just look for a tell tale sign that the indicators are activated.....if the full beams themselves come on when activating the indicator then it would be a fail also the HID thing the MOT tester have no means of testing the auto level aslong as the beam is ok then its fine, i suspect this is where most will fail as the beams are wrong its true most factory fit systems cause blinding, this is mainly because those who have retro fitted them po
