the extra fluid you put in will come out again when you compress the calipers back......just means theres little meat left on the pads....check and replace
-
full of shit the lot of em, they pull stunts like this and then have the nerve to go on tv and complain and get angry as to why people treat them like scum and call them names....utter utter filth ment the gypsies.....

@ potter, when the beam is pointing to the wall can you see straight lines or just a massive blob?
-
they can only fail if the beam pattern is wrong, no other reason for failure......headlight washers arent testable unless the car came fitted with them from the factory.....nothing to test so no reason for failure....if they are present and dont work its a fail
-
Must be the way it is then unless someone else can shine some light on it, the "stump" looks fatter so we can assume its the way it is both my na's 96 + 97 had the plastic one Change the gearbox oil to see if it helps, another quick little thing you can before fitting another box....but as above its probably the syncros
-
yup its a fail, the new items kicked in this month have a look on euro car parts for the shafts or on the net.....but yeah universal boots are good used loads before
-
it has its benefits, i had mine filled with nitrogen....didnt notice the difference but it was on a road car...they use it alot in track cars/f1 (constant pressure/temp being the main reason) the main downside to the masses is if at the track or in the event of a slow puncture you need to fill/reduce your pressures (as you found out last time amjad iirc) you wont have any nitrogen to hand..filling with normal air defeats the object. They also have to be fully emptied before nitrogen is put in again... normal air has like 80% nitrogen in anyway....i wouldnt bother just make sure you put some
-
what year is it? ive only ever seen the metal cube (can be turned over) and the plastic "cap" (cant be turned over).......never seen just a metal stump....interesting
-
thats fine, the boots wear over time......by the way just because a shocker hasnt leaked fluid doesnt mean to say it isnt worn/in need of replacement

Einstein here was on empty...to say i was livid was an understatement!! Wanted some v-power, cars pinking like a mofo thought id put some higher quality stuff in to see if it helps before i get a chance to look at it further shell = closed for 30min (probs boshing one out the cnut) sainsbury = queued the fck out asda = queued the fck out Tesco= miles away Sat there like a lemon to get some of sainsburys super...helped massively and it drank less so it was worth the unnecessary wait.

These are the things i think are must when buying a new EP, before any real performance modifications begin. Most members drive about with the standard turbo cranked up for a while before moving on to a different setup so it pays to invest in some quality parts/service parts to keep your engine healthy so you can safely move onto a different turbo setup without the need of a costly engine rebuild. Servicing Oil, most recommended by opie oils is the 5w40 synthetic (Fuchs/Silkolene Pro S) for the 4EFTE Yes its expensive, and i wondered this for a long time....is it better to get a cheap 10w -
300+ and 360?! thats like ~50mpg at the current price... :surrender: 300 is my max atm.....i have few adrenaline moments but that still impressive guys!

Symptoms sound like air leak tbh...also raises suspision on the CTS when its warm as it control fueling iirc Youve done most of what they would have done mate, wouldnt waste your money ^ -
the main reason i want a good cam is so i can take photos of certain lecture slides which the lecturer hasnt added to the handout instead of writing it all out = effort..lol wifi is excellent at uni as is at home, i have a 3GS so not sure if i can? this will be upgraded next year to god knows what.. im leaning towards android atm....i dont like the hold apple has on there products i prefer freedom to do what i like and plug it in where ever i want..also the new ipad doesnt have a usb port so it rules it out from me
