  1. the crystal change messes up the fueling of the engine, if you do the mod its best to get the afr`s checked.....
  2. once printed what do i do with it mate ^
  3. think ive found the answer />http://www.alltrac.net/specs/st165USAspecs.html it says the 14" alloys used were 6j mine are 5.5j.....would this make a difference? these studs be ok? />http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Wheel-Stud-51mm-Long-/370478734765?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item564240ddad
  4. Ive spent the best part of a couple of hours looking for what to use as i want to try and retain the 14" griffin alloys i have at all costs so far ive come up with: ST165/early ST185 twin pots + carriers ST165 celica disc re-drilled to 4 stud fitment 255/25mm 3mm spacers i read that the jdm st165 came with 14" wheels originally...so would the carriers on the ST165 and early ST185 be different? is this all i need? i keep coming across stuff astra discs/bmw discs/extended nuts/spacers/rings to center the discs etc etc the best guide i could find was this with 15" wheels />http://www.
  5. most likely valve stem seals mate, just keep it topped up and you can drive for aslong as you like....
  6. if your swaping the whole arms including bushes youll be fine (this WILL knock the alignment out)........why wasnt it knocking before you did the work on the clutch?, tbh if it was me id leave them for now......the bottom bolt is a fuck about once the captive nut breaks for freedom youve already had a headache with the clutch it will just cause you more upset did you check the top nut on the coilovers?
  7. Any measured temp differences? Cool to the touch means sweet f all... Any one got any figures of how much quicker boost comes on with an arc? Ie 200revs etc? No one has to butcher the bumper ^ using a massive core is pointless get a smaller core and your done
  8. He was selling a drag inlet mani iirc and it was fitted in a engine bay, you could clearly see the box was different Have a look the zisco F/S threads
  9. fmic would be better, get a good kit tho.....like the wepr/zisco one starlets dont need massive coolers total overkill imo a small well placed cooler is where its at
  10. it was only a matter or time (i was thinking about this the other day funnily enough).........a couple of years ago most people ran stock - 160/180bhp now its 200+ on nearly all FTEs across the board.......your doing right by thinking out of the box but its not going to be a cheap venture by all means id go with shortys suggestion and shoehorn another toyota box in...and possibly get a "conversion kit" together
  11. Thought the 6spds werent as strong? I saw a pic of a diff gbox mounted to a ep in one of ziscos for sale threads iirc my post was deleted...it looked alot bigger compared to the ep one Either way custom mounts/housing plate/shafts are on the list.. Get better gearbox oil too it should help alot!
  12. can you get diff temp ones? wallace said his is themostat controlled and still overcools...
  13. my thoughts: get a small non-thermostat one and keep it well covered off track so you dont overcool the oil especially on a constant motorway run (make a little blanket for it lol) and on track un-cover it, make sure its mounted in a high pressure area on front the car (mabe even make some ducting for it or even add a high cfm computer fan) and let it cool to its hearts content ....by small i mean half the size of the ones you see knocking around.... anyone think its a good idea?
  14. How many miles you done since fitting? Done any hard stops? My reds and new discs took some time to settle down
  15. Sort the vac/tps out and your away, you can mess with fueling/runner length etc later when its up and running Vac isnt that hard to figure out take inspiration from the honda girls and get a small vac tank...tps can be modified to fit depending how handy your are with metal work and the provisions your itbs have for one....
  16. iddy can get you a wepr setup ^
