  2. its the diapraghm inside them thats weak, its made of rubber hence perishes over time so there would be no point it will still be poo....good idea tho...get a new standard one off another turbo and make it adjustable

  5. the N/A gearbox will last for ages, just depends on how agressive your driving is...i put both my boxes through hell with the 4E-FE and there still perfect change the oil to something decent, make sure the shifter bushes/engine mounts are not damaged and youll be fine

  13. With the correct tuning and the nos brought in gradually across the rev range to help spool up i cant see it not working...50shot?

  15. iirc they should fit just the cv joints might be a different spline count...

I want to start boosting, its been 4? 5? years with a N/A now so i naturally want more power i cover alot of miles on the motorway and it just gets tedious where i have to work for the power....i was going to move on and get a vag but everyone just said get the boost you want youll just end up coming back more out of pocket the way i see it is ive got two years at uni left...i want to enjoy the 220 odd i can get then move on to a big boy engine because ill be able to afford it....for now ive got a set budget to buy everything i need for the conversion....pretty much what a stage one would cos

  18. im not after a brandnew block mate, just a rebuilt engine to standard spec...ive seen enough engines sold as "in good condition" till the buyer finally installs it only for it to spin a bearing...i dont have the time for it rather get a rebuilt engine...

  20. tbh most people just shit there old engine and move to a forged unit...hence theres a lack of input
  21. 3 angle valve job....they should know what there doing? as above thats whats done, a machine is used to do it...
  22. surely a machinist could knock one up? 3 bolt holes and a center diameter of the exhaust in a triangle shape.....
