  1. deffo get the shorud, makes all the difference....theres a reason why all cars come with one...it would be cheaper not to bolt one on more effective cooling
  2. i checked the yaris belt clip its flatter and of a different material than the starlet one, thats probably why......still no reply from graham...

  5. get some assembly lube off them too, normal oils too thin...especially at that critical start-up moment
  6. You have the gap the pistons all the time ^ standard or forged......every bore is different did you not get the block decked? get them to do it before it comes back mate
  7. use a full size if you can, whack two fans on it too....if not put a civic one in alot of people use them with little complaint

  12. Tried all the screws med and large are the ones which fit, tightened it as much as i could without physically breaking the allen key but it either slides off as it gets tighter or stays on and comes off after say 2-3miles

  17. Thought he was one of the good guys? interesting.... it should have been stripped down, skimmed...valves seated and a full head seal kit put on..
  18. who was the monkey off tgtt? valve seating should have been checked by him, when the head was off... did he replace the valve stem seals? get the head skimmed? just out of curiosity where did you spend the other £250? you need to really find out to what extent he did the job and go from there...

  20. got it in the post, tried to fit it but it keeps sliding off the belt clip....no matter how much i tighten it, it just slips off the belt clip as im driving along...annoyed tbh anyone else tried there luck?
  21. clean them up, say you fitted it but realised it was the wrong one so removed it
  22. old stuff, send the new stuff back....say you got the wrong one it was the 200mm fe one you need which you got from else where ;)
  23. timing belt cover you mean? the silver one is the earlier FTE engine with thicker rods, common myth that they are stronger...it has been proved they are both of the same strength
