  3. iirc they are both the same the issue arises when someone with a fixed pulley buys one with a removable pulley so they have to give it back as you have to reuse your old pulley

  12. im going to replace my valve stem seals soon without taking the head off, but yeah if you rev it nice n slowly it will be fine especially when cold....rag it and look thru your rear view youll see a cloud of smoke i did a comp test on mine 200 across all cylinders, plugs were black...the previous owner didnt drive the car as hard as i do thats why it wasnt apparent when i first got it + the crank seal was leaking so i had oil loss anyway if you want get some heavy weight oil from morrisons (asda dont have it) get 15w50 its really cheap apparently to tide you over check the oil every other time you drive and youll be grand till you can afford to fix it
  13. comp wont tell you anything 1) the oil ring is at the bottom, the comp ring is at the top and thats what you`ll be testing 2) if its your valve stem seals there will be oil in the cylinder anyway which will impair your readings

  15. Wicked write-up mate....becareful on where you route the rev wire it can cause interferance with the cd player/audio causing static when the engine is on

  18. You couldnt find a cost because it varies alot depending on the spec of parts installed/how friendly you are with the machinist/whos doing the labour work id first think of your power goals then shop according to that then lastly find a competent mechanic
