  1. the brace WILL go on mate, loosen the fuel filter and bend it back then rest brace on one bolt on each side and whack it down.......will take abit of force bit it will go on no need to worry about the filter i ran one for ~3 years without issue looking to get another soon id ask for a refund on the deflectors ^
  2. nah, the activated charcoal is usually way past its best......rip it out and be done with it can also take the two "shiny" plastic pipes off and block the throttle body and blue valve on the engine
  3. personally i dont think the extra 16mm will make any difference which EBC pads are you going for? theres alot of recommendation to go for red stuff ones
  4. Lol best of luck bro, i deleted facebook for this very reason will probably do the same as yourself On here when it comes to exam time ...if only i had a pound for everytime i needlessly clicked the new post button
  5. Seems to me like he fitted it and took it for a rag...without any regards as to what boost it was running hence its shagged does it have a boost gauge? actuator set properly? Boost contoller plumbed in?
  6. on the dash all day long as above its at a more natural eye level so you can easily glimpse over..its easier to mount them in a 82 tho the din stuff is crap esp the dinky little gauges need a telescope to see them
  7. Just to update, i managed to get some KU31`s delivered from this site http://www.oponeo.co.uk/tyre-details/kumho...85-55-r14-80-h/ ordered on tuesday and got them today not bad for a company based in poland, they sent me automatic emails stating at which stage the tyres were i.e picked/packed/shipped so 10/10 overall i paid £46 each but are now showing up as £87 for anyone whos interested in ordering i can forward them my invoice to see if they can get them for £46 too shame its being discontinued such a awesome tyre hopefully the new one is available in our fitment best
  8. they are the same thickness as the 4EFE ones just longer theres thought that the 4efe ones are the same as the glanza rods which is explainable, toyota possibly ordered X number of the same rods to put in all the current 4e engines instead of a different set for the 4efe and a different set for the 4efte
  9. Just a quick one from the top of my head........id do something like this bonnet off first, bumper too and the headlights (prevents you from damaging anything more time consuming but keeps everything safe)....tape up the fenders with some cloth or what ever you have lying around to stop them getting scratched etc etc drain the coolant, take out the battery/radiator/air box start with the wiring unplug it all, tape up connectors to remember where they go jack the car up and support it......tyres off, undo the wishbones and drain the gearbox 22? 24?mm socket and knock the drive shafts out 32mm nut iirc....while your there take off the exhaust theres 2 14mm bolts iirc, it will hang on the lambda sensor so disconnect it and the two rubber bushes dont forget the speedo cable too it twists out nearly done..... support the engine and start removing the engine mounts (take it out as one the gearbox and engine alot easier) whip the engine out....clean the bay swap all your stuff over to the other engine replace the timing belt/water pump/clutch while its out its alot easier......new engine in change the oil + filter stand back and stroke a lion
  10. appears to have them, in the head gasket i wouldn't cheap out tho its expensive but get the toyota one

  13. looking good off topic but is that your sub/audio wire the red one in the pic? route it through the firewall under the airbox theres a rubber grommet there.........it can easily cut through and touch the chassis where you have it now
  14. Simply put no one on here has tried it, if you want more info have a search thru tgtt thats where most of the high HP cars reside so you could possibly get some help heres a thread and you can get the gist of peoples views hence why it hasnt been done http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....amp;hl=coilpack the 4efe which come in the ep95 are just cast away by people who are power hungry so theres never a chance to experiment, the bug eye corolla 4efe came with coilpacks too
  15. originals arent all the way up to the cover are they? ive got some optional extra ones and they dont go up to the grill so youll be fine
  16. what engine? 4efe? or 4efte? for a turbo you want 5w40 fully synthetic (or was it 5w30? cant remember lol) for the 4efe you want 10w40 semi
  17. iirc theres some stamp marks on the back ill go have a look my gut feeling is they are a 5.5 they are 5.5.....
  18. just plugged the numbers in here, seems like there very little difference http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/infoTireMath.dos#row3 if they fit fine im going to look for a set of rainsport 2s the 195 is 10mm wider and a smaller profile i cant see any major issues tbh
  19. both sets of 10cm speakers ive had fitted using 2 posts not 4 like the original i used a hot glue gun to secure them properly

  23. here we go thankyou ^ http://www.sr20forum.com/sr20ve-sr16ve/118...timing-ecu.html seems fuel can be catered for but timing cant....
  24. Nice work is it both high and low beam? i dont think angels will suit the N/A it doesn't have an aggressive front end like the 5 series etc so well see what they look like when there done
