  1. k+n filters are designed and need to be "wet" for them to work at their best....its all fair and well cleaning it with petrol (as if it wasnt already expensive lol) but you'll need to re-oil it with the correct oil
  2. Get the filter cleaning kit for ~£10 off ebay go for the aerosol one not the bottle oil one, can easily get too much oil on with the bottle
  3. the throttle cable bracket will need to be moved over, remove the two 10mm bolts and move the throttle bracket so its only utilizing the one far bolt and the cable should fit (if your using the FTE manifold this is) ive had mine like this for ~1000miles and check it every so often to make sure its safe get someone to sit in the car to ensure theres no slack while you make sure the throttle body fully opens/closes
  4. the N/A should have 4 pipes at the bottom not 2 check again the pipe can be blocked off not sure about the sensor tho
  5. none interferance so the valve should be fine go speak to them if they wont help you out, do as rubix says
  6. seems like it cant be ignition related as you replaced everything..... i`d check for water down the plug holes check the earth of the ignitor pack check the ignition timing with a light replace the fuel filter if it still plays up get the injectors cleaned edit: what grade plugs are you using?
  7. You'd be hard pushed to get one bro....not many about more than likely needs to be custom made which shouldnt be that costly if you shop around you could have a solid 4-2-1 mani for little money
  8. For anyone who missed the film at the cinema like myself http://www.sainsburysentertainment.co.uk/e...iate_id=1546795
  9. where abouts you from? ive got loads of standard fit tyres if your interested?
  10. by blocking up i ment the throttle body and small valve which is left behind when hes removed it all
  11. lol back on topic.....any of the above people tried red stuff pads too? which are better?
  12. it should follow the driverside, under the rear seat and into the boot......have a look around the wire colours are yellow/black for one side and purple/white for the other iirc
  13. well aren't you a big boy, know any other colours?
  14. off topic but how do they compare with reds?
  15. Loop some rubber tubing over it and put a tie clip on
  16. be careful you dont ruin the threads on the top mount lol
  17. thats how i would fit it, also there is a point i made a diy one that leaked and didnt seal properly and it still caught oil over a period of time....it will keep you inlet tract clean and stop polluting the air/fuel mixture with oil and water vapour follow this http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/showthread.php?t=331989
  18. the brace WILL go on mate, loosen the fuel filter and bend it back then rest brace on one bolt on each side and whack it down.......will take abit of force bit it will go on no need to worry about the filter i ran one for ~3 years without issue looking to get another soon id ask for a refund on the deflectors ^
  19. nah, the activated charcoal is usually way past its best......rip it out and be done with it can also take the two "shiny" plastic pipes off and block the throttle body and blue valve on the engine
  20. personally i dont think the extra 16mm will make any difference which EBC pads are you going for? theres alot of recommendation to go for red stuff ones
  21. Lol best of luck bro, i deleted facebook for this very reason will probably do the same as yourself On here when it comes to exam time ...if only i had a pound for everytime i needlessly clicked the new post button
  22. Seems to me like he fitted it and took it for a rag...without any regards as to what boost it was running hence its shagged does it have a boost gauge? actuator set properly? Boost contoller plumbed in?
  23. on the dash all day long as above its at a more natural eye level so you can easily glimpse over..its easier to mount them in a 82 tho the din stuff is crap esp the dinky little gauges need a telescope to see them
  24. Just to update, i managed to get some KU31`s delivered from this site http://www.oponeo.co.uk/tyre-details/kumho...85-55-r14-80-h/ ordered on tuesday and got them today not bad for a company based in poland, they sent me automatic emails stating at which stage the tyres were i.e picked/packed/shipped so 10/10 overall i paid £46 each but are now showing up as £87 for anyone whos interested in ordering i can forward them my invoice to see if they can get them for £46 too shame its being discontinued such a awesome tyre hopefully the new one is available in our fitm
  25. they are the same thickness as the 4EFE ones just longer theres thought that the 4efe ones are the same as the glanza rods which is explainable, toyota possibly ordered X number of the same rods to put in all the current 4e engines instead of a different set for the 4efe and a different set for the 4efte
