the solenoid sounds like its stuck mate, it does happen. bypass it, see if that works. if youve aleready bypassed it, check your boost pipes for leaks.

ive ordered an OS Giken release bearing from japan. hopefully that will be manly enough to cope, unlike the pieces of shit toyota make. i cant express how much i am not looking forward to taking the gearbox off. again.

supposed to going for a map tomorrow. get in car to test it. foot on clutch, and there is a VERY loud grinding noise. sounds like my brand fucking new trow out bearing is dead already. chances are ill have to cancel the tuning tomorrow. fucking car is doing my head in. if someone made me a decent offer. id sell it. ive done hundreds of miles in it. and the cunt packs up like, a day before it needs to be mapped.

98 bumper + angle grinder = ubes... still waiting on the lip to make it look a bit less gay. but it does the gob so far. also the interior is almost sort of done ish.

itll me marginally nipier if youre gettin some cold air to it. but its not going to set the strip alight. lol. the majority of it is placebo, because it sounds lush, youre thinking its quicker.

get a jam manifold, a blitz decat, a K&N panel filter, and a HKS Silent power exhaust, then get a decent bost controller. then get a unichip or something. looking at the engine you wont be able to tell youve touched it. and the exhaust will be pretty subtle aswell. tuned, that will be 160 ish HP. strip out some weight and itll be fairly nippy.

the gearbox takes as much as you can fit in there, about 3 litres ish. the discs i think are 255. cant remember!
