  1. if you were talking about 10k rpm+ race engines, then yes it would need to be perfectly tuned. to the specific engine. however, the head flow etc on the 4e/5e is the same. and the intake is basically identical. the 200 cc wont make any difference appart from a tad more torque.
  2. 1. can i watch. 2. can you rub it in while calling me Miss Sally. ?
  3. the difference between the 4e and 5e is less than 10mm. most exhausts cater for double that in discrepancy. a 5e system would fit a 4e perfectly well.
  4. not really. you lot on here forget that parts for other cars are not actually rediculous. starlets are the most overpriced cars ive ever seen parts wise. even worse than GTRs/Evos etc. they wasnt that much at all really.
  5. im using the ferrari discs, they are 340mm. so fairly big. bout 30mm thick too. stock discs are way too small for these.
  6. they are 4 pot ferrari f50 calipers, they require custom brackets and discs etc (340mm). but will pull your face off once installed.
  7. its all about cowboy hats, but not pink ones though.
  8. ololols at a drum of katy, you would literally die from that in a weekend. like, actually die. the drums are "proper" westcountry blends. they are amazing if you like real cider.
  9. wait for bill, his one is perfect mate. wepr piping, HDI turbo pipe and a universal core. and it all fits better than any shelf kit ive ever fitted to a starlet!
  10. just got some new brakes.... they should be "fairly good" F50 yo'
  11. get some numbers and ill see what i can do. would need to be serious though, like, money up front etc. probs be in the region of around 350 pounds. but they would be epic win, proper tuned race manifolds.
  12. the Hdi core size it roughly about the size of greater london. in my opinion, it is absolutely rediculous. it is way too big for a starlet. the wepr kits are a decent size. but id recommend go custom, get one that fits perfectly. asl bill what size his one is, as when we fitted that it was literally perfect.
  13. thats a shame, they make mc wins manifolds for the USDM stuff. obx has always been just a bit.... pikey. is there a big demand for good headers for the 5e? i could get some TC ones made up for a reasonable price, really good quality ones, all tuned length etc... do yours cheaper if you let me borrow your car mikey ^^
  14. i think hes going to pick them all up thursday. so you should be ok. i know he hasnt got it all yet as we were discussing last night.
  15. ive never seen the pace setter ones in the flesh, but they are designed better than the obx ones. better flow etc.
  16. pace setter ones are much better in my opinion... and chanelle, if you really want a good exhaust made up to fit on it, i know a bloke... its about 400 quid for a manifold back job but it is rediculously ube work. i showed curt a pic of one of his manifolds before i think. he got a boner.
  17. we use megs polishes with poorboys glaze sealant etc, then colinite wax, then some dodo RM over that for extra winlulz. also bill, it better not be shinier than mine you prick.
  18. mate, borrow bill's one, he cant use it to save his life anyway. job done.
  19. rev the wank off of it, just dont load the engine. revs wont kill it, loadit it up will. youre better off going up a hill at 5k in 2nd instead of 2k in 5th for example. you want the engine to stay spinning but under the least amount of load. that said, dont sort there boshing it off the limiter. just increase the revs slowly with the miles. i think by 50 miles on mine i was revving to 5k. taking it to 7+ at 100 miles. that engine got used and abused, and is still about somewhere making 300+ hp. never been stripped down. it outlasted alot of the other "big power" tgtt boys who blo
  20. itll make a mnoticable difference, but its a shitty job to change it. so if you can be bothered to do it, then get it on.
  21. call simon up at sjs, he can design you whatever you like. get a custom jobby done up ^^ to be honest, he will probably be at JAE so you can chat to him. i think i still have his mob number if you want to give him a ring. as for money, it will probs cost you a bit, but you dont want to skimp on vinyl. cheap vinyl fades in about 6 months and goes hazey. i think si uses 7 year vinyl, which is pretty much the best you can get.
  22. if you want to get that sort of thing done chanelle i can sort you out. http://www.sjsdesign.com hes based in chelmsford. and hes bloody GOOD. hes does everyone of driftworks. including all the pro cars. he is the win.
  23. its my sexy aged looks mate. and my awesome hat. infact. i shall bring it again for more awesome hat antics.
  24. if you give it a quick clean and detail, itll take you a few hours. it only took us that long as we machine polished it with a few different grades of polish. hand polishing is faster but the finish isnt as good. youll need probs 3-4 hours of good weather though.
