that was the point, it was a rediculous car. and dont put words in my mouth about regretting it. it wasnt easy to sort out, nobody had done it, remember? i had ALOT of issues getting it all working properly. but once it was done, i never looked back. at the end of the day, as a td04, it will never make the power it could have with the td06. it was running very low boost on the td06, as i wanted it for road use. but it made in excess of 350hp on the dyno at 1.6bar. that engine was built to run 2 bar. and it could have with that turbo, and it would have made over 400hp i recon. only thing ho

fuel wise, its pretty much double what a starlet does. 70 quid will get you 300 or so miles. if driven every day, you really start to notice the cost of petrol... lol. as for driving it, imagine every time you accidentally spun up the front wheels in the starlet.... now imagine what it would be like with 300 or so hp... then imagine every time you spun it up, it didnt just understeer a bit, but the back end snapped round. id recommend doing some drift days though if you do get one, you realy learn how to react to a slide. you have to teach yourself to do things that are pretty unnatural

im actually really upset by this. it was the first TD06 glanza, and its still the only one that im aware of. when i build it, it was groundbreaking. why not just td04 something else. this car is now very very average. ANOTHER 5e/td04, yawn. RIP i still want him to take the stickers off. td04s are shit, they are not TC.

engines done mate, its where i want it. its running around 330hp, which is plenty. any more than that and it starts getting very very tail happy and you cant really use it on the road properly. they are very very torquey motors, its already lively enough. its perfect for track work.

as silly as it sounds.... rattle can it. you can get fabric spray paint. just spray it on, then give it a rub about with a brush so it covers everything. it comes up a treat.

fluid levels wont affect the clutch like that mate. the fluid is only for disengaging the clutch, if it was low, you wouldnt be changing gears... but, if its revving and not going anywhere then it is something to do with the clutch. either the slutch disc itself or the pressure plate. did you change both when it was changed?

your crank pulley fell off? lulz, how did you manage that.

does it stop? its probably just a bit of water on the belt. mine used to do it quite alot in the winter months. as soon as its warm it goes away. when turbos go, they make a real high pitch noise before making smoke bombs out of the exhaust ;] so it isnt that. water pumps mate a scratching/scraping noise. but its not really very loud when it does it.

if you want 200hp. why are you wasting your money on a big turbo kit? you can hit that with the stock turbo if its well mapped and supported.
