  1. pretty good, that must HAVE felt great.
  2. please tell me you pied after that. i will knight you an honourary champion of tc if you did.
  3. im home now, so i could piss it there by half 7. i shall discuss with the riko the terrorist and see what time hes getting there.
  4. i know, but it doesnt do it across the revs like the hks. which is why its better. clamping is better than resisting. im not sure what your point is.
  5. im so JDM i enjoy raping women.
  6. 1NZ-FE. they are such lush little motors. i absolutely love mine.
  7. the FE doesnt mean anything. its generic engine coding. the F refers to the type of camdrive that is used, and the E means its fuel injected. you can get 6/8 cylinder engines with F head codes and every fuel injected toyota has an E. it doenst mean they are the same. its the engine series that designated family. one is an A series, one is an E series. they aint the same.
  8. theres no such thing as an FE family mate. the 7As are a different type of engine to those found in starlets.
  9. did i say anything about compensating for fueling? or did he for that matter? orite. HKS units, lean out the fueling. tricking the ECU into thinking its doing something it isnt is very backwards in my opinion. you shouldnt have to upgrade your fueling to compensate for a fuel cut defencer. clamping is much better.
  10. i would never get rid of my AC.... evar. not on a daily driver anyway.
  11. it has a pre facelift bumper, with pre facelift fogs. it has a pre facelift steering wheel. the dial cluster is pre facelift. the indicators are pre facelift. its also a 96, which was the very first year the glanza was released. so it isnt a facelift at all! forward that onto him, see what he says.
  12. you cant do anything without removing the AC. there is just no space to do it. you would have to have a REALLY tight bend and somehow get it going to the wheel arch or something. it wouldnt be easy at all.
  13. thats a 1st generation glanza. the "facelift" glanza was late 97-99. he's wrong.
  14. neither was the 4efe i do have to say though, a 2zz in a starlet would be quite fun.
  15. the ONLY fuel cut defenders worth their salt is the Greddy unit (has to be the 4efte one though, they are car specific) or the JAM Racing ones. they are quite hard to find these days mind. the HKS ones are just crap to be honest. they resist the ecu signals so the car thinks its running a lower boost. it effectivly leans the fueling out across the entire rev range. a very pikey (but cheaper to produce) way of doing things.
  16. the greddy FCDs are different from the HKS ones. they are actually good for a start. the bypass the cut rather than change the ECU signals. you cant change settings on them etc. what sort of thing is happening? it might not be fuel cut. is the EM light coming up on the dash?
  17. it does, you just dont have the studs to mount it on. you can fit it though and it does stay in place with the centre nut. you just have to make sure its lined up properly.
  18. na, wouldnt need anything to be honest. its only an extra 1mm of lift on the intake. to be honest, you wouldnt feel it on the car. it might make couple of HP higher up in the rev range at best.
  19. the fhe head is the same.... there is only one type of head for the 4E and 5E. the differences are in the cams/springs. from personal experience, here is what i have found. 4EFE - nothing 4EFTE - stronger valve springs. 5EFE - nothing 5EFHE - stronger valve springs. 5EFHE ACIS - one of the cams has a higher lift/stronger valve springs.
  20. you need the 4e oil filter block that moves it to the left. the stock block doesnt have any taps for oil feed on it.
  21. they arrived today.... fuck me, they are so so pretty.... also, they are not staggered, they only make the 57s in 2 offsets at that size. 33 and 45... 45 is for gayboys ^^ i will stagger the tyres though. ill probs go 15mm more on the rears. i have fully adjustable rear arms, so the track is wider at the rear as well. im not mega fussed about how it handles on these rims anyway, these are more posey lush wheels. the rpf1's will be on if there is any spirited/track driving going on.
