  1. as long as its the regular lot itll be ok. i just really dont think a load of noobs from the other site turning up and coming in their pants over a mag shoot. it would be gay if the old bill come and move us on because people are being loud and cockish. the list is already at 25 or something. medstone meets have ALWAYS been 10 or less cars. i just really dont want our venue being messed up for future meets by a load of twats turning up hoping to get a picture taken, as they all wont come next time. you can put money on that.

  3. track in a stock starlet, sure mate ;] is it in kph still? if you convert it to mph the limiter goes up to 180mph. try hitting that on track ^^
  4. the way the auto TPS attaches to the throttle body is completely different to the manual ones. youll need the whole throttle body and sensor to fit to the intake plenum. they are a direct fit and your best option. youll need to do some slight rewiring and its done. nissans do use 5v sensors. but again, youll need a nissan thorttle body to attach it to. then youll need to custom make something to get it to fit to the intake.
  5. it isnt a vibrating sound, its a scraping noise. i cant tell you how similar it is to wheel scrubbing. i even thought thats what it was at first. i am however 100% sure its the clutch after going for a drive and listening for myself. i was originally concerned about the box. but the shifting is too smooth and precise for that level of noise. im having trouble seeing how the splash guard can move about though. it is bolted on pretty stiff. theres about 6 or 7 bolts holding it on iirc. also bill has a stock fly, so nothing on the splash plate side should be any different to stock. its only t
  6. is yours the blue yaris with the different front bumper? also, you need to get the throttle body from an automatic starlet turbo. the TPS is a 5v variable. thatll sort you right out.

  8. good input shaney, well done... also, a panhard rod doesnt affect height at all. it just adjusts the rear axle to centre it when you lower it. your NA had a panhard rod aswell, all starlets do.

  10. i didnt bother to read all the replies, but are you fully comp? if so, it doesnt matter if he accepts responsibility or not, your insurance will pay for it and after that they will seek reimbursement. youll have the cash next week if its fully comp mate. only hard part is arguing the true value of the car.

  14. the 2 sensors are for the AC, like rore said. as for the charcoal canister. you can remove it and all the gubbins for it. it wont affect anything if you remove it.

  16. is it not just bolted together? im sure its just screws and bolts? i actually broke the slider in my old GT and had to fix it, and i dont remember having trouble taking it apart?

  18. the new VXR is poo. i had a go of one and was so dissapointed, i went back from the test drive early. one of the worst cars ive ever driven.
  19. the blitz SS valves are simple as feck mate. its a hole, with a piston in and a spring. can you press the piston in with your finger? if you can it isnt jammed. its just trial and error, i had about 3 or 4 mm of thread showing when i had one on my old starb. then i get rid of them, as i realised BOVs are for gayboys ^^
  20. i have a 10 in the silvia, id prefer the QD to weight saving anyday of the week. and i have enough bootspace to store half of china so it doesnt make a difference realy ^^
  21. so youre admitting to "racing" at 112mph on a public road on a public forum? clever starlets feel like they are about to explode over about 90 anyway. do the car a favour and slow down. if you have a speedo converter, the limiter is removed anyway.

  23. you want it to chatter up to about 3 or 4 psi. then start dumping. just trial an error really, youll have to keep adjusting it.
