  1. 205s wont make any noticable difference to be honest. youll have an extra 10mm or something added to the diameter. so get whatever ones you want. it wont make any real world difference.
  2. it needs to be at least bike size. which is 66x44 as ive said above. also the place that makes it needs to put their postcode and their BS number on the plate to make it fully legal.
  3. 10w30 will be fine mate. any old brand will be ok.
  4. its because i put it together mate. tc powerboosts etc. also, those burps mate. lulz.
  5. this is the law... Display of Vehicle Registration Marks on Imported Vehicles (which have a restricted space for a standard sized number plate) Certain imported vehicles may be permitted to display number plates with smaller characters if: * The vehicle does not have European Community Whole Vehicle Type Approval and * The vehicle's construction/design cannot accommodate standard size number plates Specifications for smaller sized plates (for certain imported vehicles) Character Height 64mm Character Width 44mm Character Stroke
  6. youre allowed bike sized lettering on the front of an import IF there isnt enough space in the OEM design to cater for a full uk sized plate. you can get away with it on starlets. im fairly up on this, i had some issues with the same thing on my S15, i have the leg somewhere. ill find the ref number on it if you like so you can request a copy to keep in the glovebox. as for the emissions, the car has to pass a fast idle test. if you cant pass one of them, then you have other things to worry about. even my old glanza passed those, and that used to kill trees just by driving past them. if you
  7. I think the story needs a correction Bill. you make it sound like you were way too cool about having it mapped. i was close to using physical force to make you have it mapped, you massive gay ^^. fat people crying isnt nice to watch. it would have been luls if it blew up to be honest. i would have also been able to actually sleep in the recovery truck on the way home as well.... ^ now, the car. ive driven alot of starlets, from stock all the way up to my old one. Bills car is one of the nicent examples ive ever driven. the power is spot on, with a very usable torque band (anyone who knows
  8. yeah, it was so bloody obvious once the bonnet was open and there was some light in there what the problem was. im disgusted that a proper "tuner"/mechanic couldnt figure it out. it was so bloody obvious. anyone who thinks a blowing exhaust is how a boost controller sounds is a plonker to be honest. to think people let him actually work on their cars!
  9. on a stock turbo, its pointless. they run out of puff at about 6. it is however possible, but id recomment getting stiffer valve springs first. i had my old one at 9k on the dyno, and used to rev it out to 8500 almost every time i drove it.
  10. i want a phonecall when you get it, for discussions/
  11. er eill have to break off into groups for dinner. even of everyone just mills about between the cars and dinner itll be ok.
  12. when posts get deleted they go into a sort of recycling bin. they are still there you just cant see them, so your post count stays the same. every now again one of the staff empties the bin, and they all go down.
  13. another essexer ^^ theres a few essex convoys down to medstone if you fancy joining us for a cruise down there. can go early with chanelle and co, or a little bit later (if youre at work or something) with me and bill.
  14. she couldnt handle it. you forget. we have dave. he is the destroyer of women.
  15. you could spend thousands on the 4efe, and it wouldnt be as good as a stock 4efte mate. the 4efe is designed to be a towny engine. it was never intended to give performance. anything over 100hp and youll need to really throw money at it. a 4efte is infinitely more tunable in the long run. even a 5e isnt that great. they are quite pony to be honest.
  16. the only real way to get an SR moving is to drop a 4efte in it. its the cheapest option in the long run.
  17. no not her. the bird on the first page with the smirnoff up her pooper. she is my kind of lady, and need her.
  18. youll be able to live without it mate to be honest. worst thing thatll happen is youll get some scrubbing on the right hand wheel if they are really low. dont let it stop you fitting them.
  19. that wouldnt really work though would it. why not put it up on the site? its a meet. it should be put on here. nobody new will turn up of its all kept hush hush. and before you jump in with the inevitable "but you said blah blah", there is a distinct difference between local kent guys new to the scene coming to a local meet, and a ton of people coming along from far and wide on a one-off hoping for a pic in a mag.
  20. how could you get any fatter riko. you will have your own gravity soon.
  21. the uksc sticker thing is a good idea. geo, send some down mate. well pop them on the cars for the mag pics. ill even stick one on silvia for a laugh. also, all of you lot jumping in on the tgtt thing, youre all noobs to be honest and dont know what youre talking about. anyone who remembers what tgtt used to be like a few years ago will agree with me (ie, a good forum) what i said up there was MY OPINION, ive been about long enough, and been to enough tgtt meets (ive been a member on there for about 6 years and have about 7000 +posts across the 4 or so different forums they've had) to k
  22. if you like beer and lulz. yes. its great. we also offer free pies to sexy people.
  23. it needs to be on the front bumper and for imports it needs to be at LEAST motorbike sized lettering.
  24. no mate, havent even thought about it. it wouldnt be till next spring or something. because camping in the cold can fuck off.
