got quite a few model cars (all in original boxes) all bburago or maisto either 1:18 or 1:24 unfortunatly the only BMW I've got is this though seriously need to keep the boxes clean though. reallt going to have to start collecting again though havnt bought any in ages lol

the biggest cause of rust really is our crappy salty roads if you get say a 92 GT straight from Japan il be very suprised to see any rust at all, whereas if you buy one from the UK it will probably develop some surface rust deffo Make sure (especially in the winter with gritters everywhere) that when you wash the car you give the arches a good going over as the salt will start to eat away at them but really I've seen rustier 02 plate cars than my 93 starlet which does say a hell of a lot

started stripping things today ready for the full re-con engine build heres after the mornings progress and heres how one of my rooms looked after a long days stripping got most of it off which i was happy about but spent 2 hours trying to seperate the turbo from the manifold......and failed one of the bolts was rounded off and rusted to fuck so really cant get it off and i cant get to the bottom left manifold bolt to take it all off at once. im actually thinking of angle grinding it off lmao should be getting hold of an engine crane next week so hopefully engine shall be out then

do it cheap do it twice im afraid if you want more power you have to cough up you can get a bit more if you buy an adjustable actuator and raise the boost to about 0.75 bar but you may hit fuel cut which isnt good for the engine. the best and free way to make your car quicker is by removing weight. e.g spare wheel back seats out etc loads of people can back me up on this taggy was on the track at Japfest 2 and was pretty much wiping the floor with anything and he wasnt running serious power. the trick......he fully stripped out his GT and made it weigh absolutely fuk all lol Hope this helps
