  1. There's also this red one from round my way: in my opinion it looks a bit shit though -- could look 100x better in my hands I'll tell you!
  2. Goog luck with that Idrees!! Saying that there was a guy who did a guide on the SXOC on how to respray your whole car with rattlecans!!!! You should have seen the finish though! It was pretty amazing. It was labour intensive though, I'm sure he had to wet sand it after every coat to level it off.
  3. I have to say mate -- you might find insurance for a Glanza comparable to a uk scooby!! Have you tried for quotes on a Glanza yet? Don't fall into the trap of getting quotes for an EP82 starlet GT and assuming it'll be the same premium for a Glanza, I did and once I found an insurer who would actually recognise a Glanza my premium had more than doubled from my initial quotes on a '95 GT valued at £5500! Also, personally, I think finance is such a con! My bro took finance for his first car and ended up paying £7000 over 3 years for a car which only cost him £4000! I'
  4. Stay away freak! Who joins an owners club without owning the car?? --- Oh wait I did 3 years ago Welcome aboard matey!
  5. Penises -- now I've got no money, got to pay for a few other more important things...
  6. Heh -- I was gonna try to make the sunset look like a mushroom cloud... but didn't bother
  7. It's hard to change white paint into another colour mate -- there's no pigment to change.
  8. I think there's only a handful of people running this turbo mate -- might be hard to get info on it What was your trap speed -- I'd say that's most important, ET only really tells you your reactions and grip (in my opinion)
  9. The idea behind the speedlines is good -- but the red lines are wonky... bit of a shame!
  10. What fast and modified is that? The one with the white RX7 on the front. My mate Gordo's in it at the RR shootout at the back! Hit GT4 made 320'odd bhp -- he was pretty chuffed because he just thought it would make about 260-270!!
  11. Yeah as Scutch said mate -- don't worry too much! I wanted one all through my 4 years at Uni, but to be honest with myself I could have probably afforded to buy the car itself, but wouldn't have been able to afford insirance, petrol, and god forbid if anything went wrong with it!! I held out till I finished uni, and in that time a couple minters got by me (Jims white Glanza for one) -- But then mine came along and luckily I had the money ready to put a deposit down on it and bought it a couple days later! Never looked back! (Well maybe a little... especially since I bought mine the prices p
  12. Try about £1500 once you include any tyres and wheel nuts and shipping!
  13. Baz used to own a flip painted SR: You can just see it keeking out from the corner of this pic (couldn't find any other good ones -- must've been lost with the old site) it was a 3 door though?
  14. I'm sorry the only time I can condone neons is when they are there to help you find your way!
  15. For 11psi that's pretty damn impressive bud! And yeah the clutch slipping would account for such large transmission losses.
  16. I concur -- LED's and neons are for the gays.
  17. The second one is meant to be more of a decal than a "sun strip"... if you know what I mean?
  18. Here's a quick couple: They're not the best -- but I'm tired.
  19. I'd say to save any arguments just siphon it out! Also unless you like the tatse of petrol you can get these siphon pump thingy'bobers (JML actully sell one meant for washing windows etc from a pale of water... but I'm sure it could be used to siphon petrol) Also I've seen a few toyota petrol tanks that've been dropped to get fuel pumps fitted or powdercoated and I've never seen a drain plug, but to be truthful, none have ever been starlets. If cars do have these drain plugs though -- I might make a business of going round and emptying peoples tanks and selling the petrol on street corners
  20. I think the thing Geo is looking at is a bit that clips onto single wiper arms... not a conversion (as far as I'm aware.)
  21. P.S. -- Click to see the full image... because when it reduces the forum reduces the image it gets all distorted!
  22. I've done a quick little banner for you mate -- It's got the same background as the template one you've posted up so should merge in pretty well with the rest of your site. Just tell me what you like/dislike about it and I can move on from there:
  23. Hey Geo -- As far as I'm aware springs for Coilovers are all the same diameter regardless of application... so you could try and get a softer spring rate, then match that rate by adjusting the dampers to suit. The reason they are so harsh is due to the spring setting not really due to the rebound which is set by adjusting the shocker. You've probably set them out of sinc with the springs now by softening them.
