  1. Its not news to me don't worry Really looking forward to this now! Now its a case of rushing to get the car ready lol
  2. Hmm good question I'm not sure last year at Donington there were maybe 15-20 max? There was quite a lot of space though it was a bug track! Castle Combe is usually quite busy though
  3. Ah thanks! Bagsy Advanced session passenger seat
  4. I'm not so fussed on that now, just gutted that there isn't gonna be more EPs on at the same time But also a nice little competition between the NAs will have been fun! Out of interest what else did you pass on track? You did have Meisters though Mine's been feeling quite understeery at the moment, may just be down to slippy roads and high tyre pressure though Actually cannot wait to watch you, so much love for that car haha! Can I stick my camera in the '70 to record in your sessions? Kodak HD cam on a suction mount so it should get some decent footage
  5. Hope you can get a ticket off somebody to get on our session!
  6. Welcome! Unlucky! Forged = Win though Who's building your engine? Get some pics up of your car and what's the spec?
  7. FUUUUUU 14:24 is sold out! 5 Starlets it is!
  8. FUUUUUU 14:24 is sold out! 5 Starlets it is!
  9. They're selling out fast would love to be on with this beast! Hehe
  10. Awesome!! Booked track yet?
  11. That sucks! SO glad though that it isn't written off and more importantly you're okay! He has a point lol you need a lot of self control with that much power under your toe!

  13. No no ignore the red ones, I was just asking GTNomez where to take the 1.5mm off, you just need to take that off where the disc sits against the hub (marked in blue), if you don't then you will probably need longer wheel studs etc The 2.5 is just off the total diameter, so the disc goes from being 280mm>277.5mm
  14. Okay I've checked it and I'm pretty sure the above are correct! Here's a pic of where you need to take 1.5mm off, marked in blue
  15. So you need to buy yourself some discs from a 1.7 cdti Astra: -280mm -60mm centre bore -They allow 4x100 stud fitment Next there's a bit of machine work that needs to be done 1. Take 2.5mm off total outside diameter to make them 277.5mm 2. Take 1.5mm off the inside face of the disc, but only where it mates to the hub ie NOT THE PAD CONTACT SURFACE. This is so the disc sits central to the caliper 3. You need to make to a spacer to sit in the centre of the disc, to make the central bore match your Glanza/GT (60mm>55/54.1mm respectively). It's the same kind of thing as spigot ring but it sits flush on either side of the disc. You need some late spec ST185 calipers and carriers with pad clips. These are single piston, and more effective than the ST165/early ST185/Levin Twinpots Buy some £20 OEM late spec ST185 pads (the early spec ones for the twins don't fit these) and you're off! I've tried these brakes at Donington Park in the GT and they are crazy, didn't get them to fade even a bit and I was driving hard! Awesome on the road too with really instant pedal feedback too (after they've been bled once or twice) even without braided lines! (which still by the way fit ;) ) Just make sure you don't lock up haha I'm pretty sure the above information is correct but I'll check it all when I get home from Uni today
  16. Welcome Get a pic up on your car '99 mmm
  17. LSD is very important imo, mine is only CT9 but it grips a silly amount, I've not really pushed my car on the road that muc but I could properly feel it working on track, one of the best mods you can do I reckon. Any under brace will be decent enough, but just make sure it clears your exhaust and your roads are not bad enough for it to catch Meisters ftw also, the ride is amazing but they handle crazy too
  18. Boo this topic is dead *Update* Finally got my hands on an Optional Sunroof Deflector Also bought one of these badboys! Whiteline 24mm Front-Anti Roll Bar, handling parts ftw! I'll have the Sunroof Deflector fitted when I go back home after my exams in 2 weeks, and I'm picking up the ARB at Japfest. Checked out my insurance and the quote will drop down to £815 come renewal in Summer but unfortunately it's still too much, so it means another year in the NA Anyway hope you like! Amjad
  19. Well happy for you but then again, what else can we expect haha Looking forward to seeing the results of mapping! You need to get someone to do a lil video feature of the car
  20. Awesome! Major Kudos
  21. Hey check your headlight for sale thread, my mate wants them both and the indicators!
  22. I'm shitting it for those pesky VTAKs to come flying past The speed they were flying by when we were trackside last year at Castle was ridiculous lol
