Ben that's bullshit, the copper that pulled me in the NA was having a go at my exhaust for not having a BS stamp (it's custom) and then 5 minutes later he said oh the exhaust doesn't even have to have it or any silencers, you were just driving fast/making noise

They're all virtually the same and will give good results on the CT9, just make sure you have the supporting mods http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?app=ccs&module=pages§ion=pages&id=2&record=9

The only thing with doing that is it would be ideal on a full track day, but I'm only doing one session at Japfest I just want to try and see what would be best so I don't go out and have one rubbish session from the car not gripping. I previously used Toyo T1Rs on my GT at Donington, and in my first session slightly high tyre pressures (35psi) just would not grip. For the second session I dropped them (I didn't have a pump or anything so at a guess they were <30psi) and it handled a lot better! Online there's a lot of differing opinions as to whether to drop pressures for the Uniroyals (as they get hotter on track and the presure will go up) or to reduce pressures (reducing flex). Daily I run ~35psi to get better fuel economy, but in some corners I've found I get quite a lack of grip recently, but that may also be because of cold roads this time of year. So I'm kind of inclined to drop them for track? Thanks for the reply

There was a good thread on Pistonheads about the CTR

Really?? There's a few cars out there with OEM HIDs that don't have these features, my Mum's Leon has HIDs but they're perfectly aligned, and don't dazzle at all. I wanted to get a set for the GT (quadlight) Yeah I gotta pull mine out the NA soon

I know it's NA just thought you needed an fcd with that ecu Hmm i dunno then!

F-Con Pro & FCD?

Saw this video and it made me think of what I was saying about a video. Static shots, a launch and a few driving shots. Would be a nice promo for ID-WORKZ too

& More powerrrr! I really hope that's the case, mine drinks like mad on just CT9! :L

Slipstreams in Candy green look immense, Ollie Ryan sprayed a set Grids are boring and Purple grids have been done before on a Silver V, go for something different Purple Slips, now that would be mint!

Ah okay I didn't notice

Defo needs an outdoor shoot in the sun to show off the paint

Love it I notice your bottom rear sidelights don't light up? And did you smooth the bit on the sides of the roof where those plastic rails go?
-
Nice! Is the car fixed yet?

I know I'm thinking ahead a bit lol..but can anyone recommend what tyre pressures to run on my NA at Japfest? Particularly if you've driven at Castle? Tyres will be Uniroyal Rainsport 2s and the car will be stripped out (all seats bar driver's, parcel shelf, speakers, sub etc all gone) I've seen Taggy recommended 24psi rear 26psi front in general, but just wanted to check and there's less weight over the front wheels in an NA so if that makes any difference? Taken from Geo's Youtube channel, don't think it's been posted before here

I've had trouble inserting picture links with the tool when you write posts, say I put in a url for a jpeg, it had the codes, but inside the codes it puts in codes so the pic doesn't show? :S Photobucket links work fine for but not random pics off the internet, am I doing something wrong?

^I second that, the work gone into that car is unreal http://a8.sphotos.ak...1_2398515_n.jpg http://a3.sphotos.ak...2_7320873_n.jpg http://a6.sphotos.ak...7_6561321_n.jpg http://a8.sphotos.ak...5_3338200_n.jpg http://a8.sphotos.ak...22_814473_n.jpg http://a5.sphotos.ak...67_182859_n.jpg

Cheers Mark! Got it at a good price too! It's quite ingenious! I was sitting there when I first opened it just messing around with it lol I didn't know they had a flap thingy until you mentioned it somewhere actually! Cheers Zac, I appreciate it! Long way to go but good things come to those who wait as they say Thanks! I wish mine was still two tone though :[ Couldn't find a pic anywhere! I'm sure someone on here has one! I'm 22 in June with 2NCB but yeah it's still too much guys, I simply can't afford any more than I'm paying now. It's a few hundred less on the NA and the GT would need more fuel of course. Only have about just enough Student Loan to get me through the year as there's no time for a job with my course, it sucks Hopefully I should have enough dollar put away by Summer '13, but I'll see if the prices change at all come renewal in July! Thanks for the comments guys! Amjad

It's not to make the hole for the hub bigger, just to make that surface thinner so it sits closer to the hub if that makes sense
-
You need the spacer to make up the gap yeah, you need to take 1.5mm off the face of where it meets the hub (on the back of the disc) because Celica brakes are thinner there and if you don't the discs won't sit central to the caliper
