  3. Hmm not sure what VSS means to be honest it probably stands for something silly lol The only thing you can do is try someone elses sensor thats working..if you live near Toyota then have a pop in and ask one of the lads what VSS stands for they might be able to help more then i can lol
  4. Is it the bolt that go's into the oil filter houseing big 19mm i think? orr the ones that go to the turbo? Edit..Ryan beat me to it thats what i was going to sugest
  5. Right i've took the 2 small screws out of the icv and pulled it off the shaft/spindle thingy and started the car to see what happened!! well the car was wanting to cut out just like i thought it would but when i put the icv near the shaft/spindle the revs picked up? So my question is what dose that shaft/spindle thingy actually do? dose is suck air in? orr is it some mangnet orr something?..Because im thinking of cutting the shaft/spindle off my throttle body and leave it left in the icv so it thinks everything is hunky dory so then i can fit the Glanza TB..Anymore help would be appreciated
  6. Dose this help at all http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/showthread.php?t=308614 Maybe this lol http://www.antiguastreetz.com/forums/showthread.php?t=394

  11. Just a corolla e10 hatch back shes a beast lol i got it as a run around and had no plans for it at all but that didnt last long only had it 2weeks and the lnlet and TB are getting changed lol Lee just seen your post on my thread mate cheers thats helped alot Ohh and 98spec bumper with lip FTW
  12. So where abouts would i bolt it buddy? its got to screws going through the sensor so if i mount it anywhere near the throttle body it will be fine it dosnt have to be in any particuler position?
  13. Wow its got to be the first time out of all the pics you have took, you can see the proper colour on the wheels they look awesome john and your car looks clean as fook
  14. Seen them go for £70
  15. Right thats sorted that out then lol just im wanting to fit a Gen1 inlet with a glanza V TB but with me haveing the 2nd gen engine it looks like i cant because the icv is underneth the throttle body instead of on the left hand side of the inlet so it looks like i will have to hope out for a corolla bug eye TB. Ohh i've just thought how did you get a glanza v TB on your old car? because thats got the icv sensor under the TB im confused lol
  16. Didnt know you had this now Lee lovely motor if you dont mind me asking dose it have a Glanza V TB on there aswell as the inlet?
  17. Disconnecting the battery for 20min is just the same as takeing the fuse out...Once the battery is reconnected the fault coads should be cleared.
  18. But to be honets i think it will still come on the ecu should still recognize the problem has been sorted, just like it dose sometimes when you hit fuel cut ect...I hope im rong and you have sorted it buddy ;)
  19. disconnect the battery for 20min
  20. Well thats a start, atleast i know what the sensor is now thanks ;) What it is i think you can put the Glanza TB on a Gen1 4E-FE as the icv is on the laft hand side of the inlet like you have described and the Gen2 4E-FE has the icv under the throttle body. so im thinking i cant use the Glanza TB? unless i can change the method some how? anymore help would be great
  21. Hello guys Im just abouts to put a gen1 inlet manifold and Glanza TB on my corolla e10 4E-FE but i have come across a little problem. I have got an extra sensor on my throttle body compered to the glanza throttle body. Hes a pic of the sensor on my throttle body Now what is that sensor? can i unplug it and put the glanza throttle body on and everything will be fine? orr is there another way around this? Any help would be very much appreciated ;) Edit..I've just found a pic of 179glanza's when he had it and his Glanza S seams to have the same sensor but then he ended up putting a Glanza V inlet manifold on just befor he sold it the only thing im not sure about is did he use a Glanza V throttle body orr just put the standard on? if he did put a Glanza V TB on then what did he do with that sensor? He's a pic of 179Glanza' engine bay if you look just under the throttle body you will see them same sensor.
