Same way i learned my trade russel lol workin for your dad is not easy! We used to have some mad arguments. Mainly because its too easy to back chat to your dad than any other boss, if any of the other guys acted like i did toward him they would have been out the door. I was sent home with no bus fare, hours from home a few times rite enough Respect my dad for how he did things back then tho if i could change it i wouldnt have been so hard on him, i must have been a little shit at times. after all he put me where i am today

If i had 5k sitting spare id put it toward a deposit on a house. Passed the days when i could spunk that much money on modifiying a car.

I insured it first, then took it for an mot, u need insurance and mot for the vic check. some companies wont insure a write off but it is possible

When i baught a gt as my doner car i was gonna potter about in it it wasa cat D that was repaired when i got it, i changed the insurance over from a glanza i just sold, mot'd it that day vic check the next day then an hour or so later my insurance called to say it wasnt insured due to being a cat D they cldnt cover it. I tried a few other places and got the same so ended up breaking it.

I tend to have quite a few lunch breaks in the day im all overthe place in peoples houses tho so ive got a few favourite burger vans/cafes plus most jobs we go to our customers feed us up on tea and biscuits and the odd roll lol I've even had customers invite me and my family over for dinner ! No shit!

I know its lairy isnt it. Went to work in it today. Only 800 quid to insure it, the other van was 2k! So that was a nice surprise:D Its got a bad rear brake imbalance tho if i slam the brakes on it goes proper sideways so its been quite fun haha i got a round of applause off a bunch of wee neds for drifting it round a roundabout thismorning )

The other van is fine just a dent on the door but its my dads van, hes starting to use it again aswell now..The merc hit the van. Arnold clark salesman! who popped to the garage (with no trade plates) and hit the drivers door as we were pulling out from the pumps. Best thing is he had someone waiting next door for a test drive ) Insurance is a killer on that van as it is so thats why ive baught this + the fact my dad wont give me his van again lol Actually starting to like the paint lol Was only resprayed 6months ago, it used to be ST orange lol

950 quid mate with 11 months mot 2 months tax. Not too bad. Its horrible to drive compared to the other van though but its only for work

Bit random lol but my 04 t350 transit had an argument with a brand new merc (2miles on the clock) last week so i had to buy a cheap van to cover my work for a while and found this little ugly basterd on gumtree and picked it up thismorning. Its a solid little van and clean as a whistle but its half the size of my other 1 Looks quite funky so thought id show you guys lol Its had most panels replaced and tidied up. U cant see it in the pics but the dark green stripes, mirrors and bumpers have light green glitter and the focus green has dark green glitter. My mates gonna sign write it 2morrow. Should get the business noticed haha
