who am i tyalking to here ishaq or ammar? this is really confusing? i never said you/her blamed other members he/you got cheeky with every1 else for stating there opinion on the matter. at the end of the day mate we all want to see you get your car running and get yourself out to enjoy it but pointing fingers and blaming everyone who played a part in it is the wrong way to go about it, you cant blame td for the engine giving up or for the turbo being goosed from the word go and as far as it goes with fern if your bro started talking to me like that i would have ignored him point blank.

ishaq take a few days away from the car and then go back to it, ive been in that kind of situation before and it cost a fortune to have my car roadworthy again so i know how your feeling, some1 crashed into mine i had to pay to fix it, then the hg went, then the bottom end went and i had to replace the engine just to sell it. do yourself a favour and tell your brother to chill out, thanks to his bitching on here none of the people he has accused will help you out now and hes also caused a bit of a stir with other memebrs for no reason. hope you get something sorted dude

never really paid much attention to any of your posts i only read them quick as your moaning is doing my head in, so thats why i didnt realise it wasnt your car but tbh if its not yours then shut the fuck up and stop moaning and let your mate deal with it. do you really think a thread like this is the best way to settle this? Maybe there was a bit of fucking about but that happens, you cant expect people to drop everything to get your "mates" car done. you also only seem to be answering the questions you want to answer on here too so i will ask again if you where so unhappy with TD's price then why did you let them go ahead with the conversion? and why are you only complaining about there customer service after the engine gave up? surely if they wer that bad you/your mate would have put a thread up before this?

GT rods may be thicker but theres never been any evidence that they are any stronger. Would be pretty stupid if toyota made a weaker engine in a newer model of the same car.

im not sticking up for td here but there are 2 sides to every story and people forget that on here, if u wer so unhappy about there price then u should have shopped around and if there service was so bad then why u just complaining now the engines shot? Why didnt u complain right away

i dont mate no, but you have paid it now and been unlucky, it was always going to be a gamble buying a used engine and taking the sellers word for it to be fine. im not trying to sound like a dick mate, i do feel really bad for u i had a shit bit of luck last year with mines and it cost a fortune but blaming everyone else isnt going to fix it.

by the sounds of it u want to blame everybody. Didnt whoever baught the engine/turbo check it over? I know i would have. It might not be anyone to blame, these things happen

mine used to do that, itd warm up properly then when i drive off it would drop down. changed the thermostaqt and never had a problem again

I know the feeling mate. Im a floorlayer, got contracts with a few places but it all dried up last year and i was out of constant work for months. i was offered a job selling alarms door to door. It was soul destroying and fucking freezing but the money was ok i suppose. I gave it up after 5 months and im back out on the tools. Feels good to be back out again. It can be hard to start with something new when youve been doing something so long but it pays the bills and you can always go back to what you know what do you do anyway if you dont mind me asking? edit - just seen your last post.

well i gave up a job ive been doing for the last few months and got back out on my tools doing floorlaying again and been raking it in this week ;) then yesterday some1 broke into my car and left a brand new macbook and some booze in it and my cars at the paintshop getting the bodykit painted and fitted and a little scuff on the arch sorted!

a uk headunit will play it fine mate dont bother with the bandwidth convertor unless u really like the jap headunit lol

i know he wouldnt do anything tho. Ill go find him 2morro and give him a slap. Wherever it came from im still not happy that he went into my car in the 1st place.

got to the bottom of it! Cut a long storie short, it was some1 i know who put it there, he said he left it there at 5am because he didnt want to wake me. I know for a fact it isnt his. I left my car unlocked last nite (not like me) and i was putting my new bumpers and fenders in the car to take it to the painters today and i found a half full bottle of dissarono and a bottle of absolute vodka then under them there was a black bag. opened it up and found a brand new macbook! all lying behind my passenger seat. i cant get my head round it. Theres nothing on the macbook at all so i cant even find out who it belongs too who the fuck breaks into a car, doesnt take anything and leaves stuff there? WTF?
