Where is the cat? ok no serious.. not this cat: but this cat: i mean where you fit a decat on a FTE? is it directly after the turbo? or is that the downpipe? .. like i am getting a custom exhaust made but i want to know where you guys fitted the decat, or where the original cat is fitted.. *going to get some coffee*
  2. Hi guys, lets start at the beginning, I got a brand new set of TRD shock-inserts so i was well chuffed. But then the headache started. I had to insert the front inserts into the shockshousings. Only i had Monroe originals, so i couldnt remove the shocktube from the shockhousing as it was out of one piece. So i tried sourcing the original shocks, which was a total pain because i needed a certain type with a screwcap on top so i could remove the original shocktube and be left with only a shockhousing for my TRD inserts... Luckily with some help from the members of dutch starlet club i got the propper type from a scrapyard. We found out i had to have a type that only came on the EP71!! cause we needed the screwtype shock. Problem solved you would say... offcourse not.. After completly refurbishing them, cause they were really rusty, i went over to a mate to install them and another problem came up. After putting the inserts in the shockhousing, the screwcap did not fit back on!! the insert sat to high in the housing so the screwcap couldnt screw back in!!! I know that some of you guys drive or have driven around with TRD inserts, so my question is: HOW THE HELL DID YOU INSTALL THEM!? summary: --you have to have original shocks with screwcap, only found on P7 models --you have to get a other type of screwcap to fit the TRD insert??? please help me out guys thanks alot!

    lol, well i watched it live yesterday but didnt really have the time to run to the computer log onto UKSC and congrat all u guys was an epic race, certainly the last few laps! if the rain wouldnt have been there i dont know how it would ave ended!

  11. I have learned soooo much here, certainly cause the EP scene in the netherlands isnt so big, certainly about the turbo's. Also i would have never fitted a rolla manifold cause nobody had done it in the netherlands, as far as i know i am still the only one in the country with a rolla mani. Offcourse i got some top quality products here like the shortshifter from TC!!! I am totally hooked and i am forever thankfull for all the advise, information and tips

I was hoping you would come to this post and help me out on this The guy making my exhaust is gonna talk thing over to make a custom one Will cost me about 250 euro without intercooler, but it wil be one off ;) I have been looking at the N/A front bumper and it doesn't let a lot of air in, so i might start looking for a very broad and short intercooler. Bourkey how does the Japspeed fit? happy with the fitting, amount of cutting away, pieces op bumper?

  19. i made the decision to go FTE, all plans are put into motion! but i don't want to yell it all about until i really do have it in my car. i expect some butchering yea... just afraid it wont fit at all :S I am asking a local exhaust guy who is gonna make my exhaust to to make me a estimate on a custom one but i really do like the HDI one tbh.

  21. Since i dont have a airscoop in my bonnet i will have to be getting a FMIC. I like the way the piping goes on the HDI intercooler kit. Does anybody have any idea about the possible fitting of the HDI-kit, esp on a N/A? Reason i ask this because the bumpers on a glanza look a bit bulkier, and maybe the piping doesnt fit behind a N/A frontbumper? I am prepared to do some cutting in the bumper but the piping must fit behind it ofc. I guess i could always go for a japspeed as that is already done and works, but i dont like the way the piping runs over the exhaust mani... thanks for the help!
