  2. I copy -> pasted this to the dutch EP site, since more and more of us are importing from japan. Big Thanks for the heads up and good luck on your quest for justice!
  3. i think the price of certain players will raise after this competition

    HID's...

i installed my H.I.D. kit without any probs, didn't have to change polarity at all. My hid kit takes power straight from the battery and has 2 grounding wires, so maybe it works different to ther hids.
  6. Giving black a colour is very hard in photoshop. anyway here are a few other shades, they look kinda chrome, but i couldnt do better atm:
  7. Alex nice looking ride and whiteline stuff is always good
  8. Not saying i am going to photo shop to any extent, just checking. I would propose not to retouch at all, but who am i Anyway back to the topic! i want to see more epic pictures!!
  9. did you reset the ECU by taking of the battery for 10 minutes? it maybe would help the idling problem. The rolla manifold does make more sounds and you here the suction better. Did you also change the rest of the setup? Thinking of maybe a other filter? that could be the cause to. I would not further be concerned if the car drives normally. Hope this helps you a bit. Kevin
  10. i had a K&N panel filter first to, it's just laying around somewhere now... not much difference to be noticed tbh, but it is much better then original filtering wise for your engine.
  11. are you alowwed to retouch and photoshop your picture? i never have... always shot the picture and uploaded it without touching it... i can do crazy things with photoshop.. GREAT pictures i must say!!
  12. Engine is from a MR2, a midplaced 1.8 with turbo making a propper 197HP. weight is 1050kg and the best thing is that its RWD!!! Toyota calls it the Aygo CRAZY, to bad it a one off
  13. As said there are a lot of things you can do to tune up your N/A a bit. Look around on the forum and you will find lots of info. I don't know why you keep talking about programming an chips adn ECU's... It's a car not a computer... Take on the breathing part of the engine first, like a cold air intake and rolla manifold. Further improve ignition with better leads and spark plugs. Then look at the exhaust etc etc etc Please read up before posting stuff... Thanks, Kevin
  14. Simply stunning car!!! a real hardcore trackcar!
  15. 23 going on 24 this august.. i am old..
  16. Thanks for the feedback guys. i noticed more sound to when i have the rearseat folded down. Didn't bother me tbh. and Bourkey i got a Cusco rear top strut in place already, aswell as a whiteline rear adjustable antirollbar fitted. C-pillar would be a nice addition yes Any idea how much weight difference it really is? Thanks!
  17. Hi Guys, My girlfriend's parents got a new car, a Mazda 3 2.0L Active. This means she is getting there current car, a Mazda 323FBA. This means my starlet won't be needed as a daily driver! This means i can start doing bigger projects on my starlet! :D First thing i want to do with the starlet, cause its almost free, is to strip the interior and get a nice pair of bucketseats. My questions are: What kind of a difference does this make to the car? Is it really noticeable? How? i would guess handling and acceleration.. What kind of weight difference can i expect if i would strip the interior; rear seating etc. Thanks in advance!
  18. ep9* N/A drivers will not need these, am i correct?
  19. all the attention on the exterior.. but the engine bay looks like ABSOLUTE CRAP, if he took care of his engine as he did his enginebay...

when i do a full Meg's cleaning it's: Spray it down Clean wheels with Meg's wheel cleaner and Megs soft wheel brush wash car with 2 bucket method with NXT car shampoo and a Meg's Washmitt. Clean windows with Meg's Window cleaner. dry with Meg's drying towel. Remove surface blemishes further with Meg's Clay kit (this makes a HUGE difference!)(Only do this 3 times a year) Use Scratch X on the spots where needed Use Meg's polish to "feed" the paint. (gives deeper shine) Apply Megs NXT Wax and let it set for an hour or 2. Apply Meg's Tire Shine on the ... duh.. tyres Buff it up completly by removing the left over wax. after thart the day is over ;)
  22. Thanks Enzo! All these pictures here are great, pure beauties!! Last month i entered with a portrait picture.. DOH! this month if forgot to take the licenseplate off, but tbh i didn't want to spen to much time in that area ;) On the dutch forum we have a similair monthly photocontest, every month the winner of last months contest chooses a certain "theme", this months was URBAN. Last months was NATURE. It's all great fun to see everybody making pictures of their cars in the best possible way. It's a nice change from the standard pictures made at meetings etc.

Meguiar's FTW! To be honest i didn't wash it in 3 weeks... ;) and up close it is dusty and dirty.. It's the real dirt that you don't get off with just a sponge that really makes a difference in shine, Meg's got some great stuff that REALLY cleans the car. And it stays clean way longer cause you clean the surface completely before applying the wax. That way the wax stays on much longer and dirt doesn't stick to the car. Anyway i must say you car looks mighty clean to lots of times!

Thanks mate! Best mods is hard to say, if you talking about handling, yeah the whiteline rear ARB is the single most effective handling upgrade. I made some "URBAN" pictures for a lil dutch picture contest:
