got a couple in the netherlands

had this same prob about a year ago, and it's coming back again. it's a lube issue i friggin forgot where it neede some wd40, as a mate did it for me. we put it on a stand and i think it was at the spot where the cable goes into the compartment from the bay. it has a rubber seal around it against moist etc. pullt that thing off and spray the stuff with wd40. i must say i used other stuff, its a kind of spray on grease. its in a earosol can, but when it hits it turns into grease. hope it helps mate!

lil update: Got me some 8K Xenon lights with hi and lowbeam. Looks really good! Will be putting pics up asap!

i was talking about the headlight protectors. anybody got parts nr. and/or price?

just a quick idea but couldn't you cut them up and make eyebrows? offcourse i don't know the price of them, that's kinda important cause maybe you better just get the brows then. they look rather good tbh, would love to know the availability of them! P.S. Phil, my mom is from Singapore and english is my first language, but we moved to The Netherlands when i was about 4 y/o. So my english is a bit rusty but i get good practice here and french is simply horrible... (no offense, purely an opinion)

you talking about to different aspects you do not like. 1. the silvery surrounds, you like them black. so spray them black 2. the glass is cloudy/liney. well get the crystal ones 1 and 1 makes 2 so: get the crystal ones an spray the silver parts black and VOILA clear headlights with black inserts.

i don't get this probs with the rear lights. the top of the light is running lights then you got the brakinglight part then the indicator part and the bottom is clear, now on the left side its my foglight and the right side is my reverse. that's all you need isn't it?

dunno mate, i really don't have a clue why i have 2 plugs on the ECU. Anyway i will be pushing forward on the "tuning" of my lil N/A starlet.

the rolla manifold seem bigger to? and they are all even length, what helps alot i think

ah learned another thing, so it might be the injectors are also 195cc but i maybe simply need them to run the Glanza S ECU.

any idea how much cc the Glanza S ones are? i know original is 195cc and FTE are 295cc ohh my god!! i am asking so much today..... I am learning more and more every minute! anyway just been reading over some posts, bigger injectors are not gonna do anything for me as far as i can read... ah well..

I got Glanza S injectors, but how do i see if they are? something about colours but these don't have any colour? anybody know or have some pics?

great, honest and helpfull info Joz thanks mate! a guy i know did a rolling road with and without the rolla intake mani, magnecor ignition cables and iridium sparkplugs and got from 75hp to 87hp. the guy doing the rr told him that above 4.500 revs it was running kinda lean and that it could have done better. ow and my ECU has 2 plugs just as the Glanza S ECU instead of 3 as stated by some people here. could be UK specific? and ye ive been thinking of a 5E-FE transplant. For this car i am not looking for crazy HP just some more than it's in now.

what about an 5E-FE with bigger injectors, thinner gasket, rolla manifold and Glanza V TB?

Hi guys, as i am after more hp out of my 4E-FE i am trying to find as much info as possible. Now as i found out the 100HP 4E-FE is out an an certain type of ep82. The Glanza S has 100hp or 85 hp? because i am confused now I got the rolla manifold installed and have a Glanza S ECU and injectors that i will be installing soon. First gotta figure out if the pinout of the S ECU and my starlet ECU is the same. But Enzo you saying that my ECU is 3 plugs... i will be digging for my ECU this weekend. That would be a prob than.. Anyway i am ranting! Just wanna know how to get thos 100HP out of my 4E-FE, so any info is welcome!

haha thanks mate, really nice you like the road ! that road ends up at a single factory that is closed in the weekends. Factory is not used for it's original purpose anymore, so all the cranes and that long stretching wall is just standing there. It's about 5 minutes from my parents home, by the way, the rest of town doesn't look like a former soviet factory town
